Kerbal Space Program had its first public release in June 2011, so that’s a 15 year anniversary. Long checkered history with that game and all the drama with the sequel, maybe there’s an episode there

Adored this episode! I was a certified Batman (and particularly the Bat Family) sicko up until the New 52 happened, which somehow obliterated my interest in the comics in general. But the Arkham games, the Batman telltale game, and the Lego Batman games are some of my all-time favorite games. I had many paragraphs written in the comment that I just deleted because I have a very bad habit of becoming WAY too passionate about DC comics in a way nobody wants to hear (don’t get me started on my excitement that James Gunn seems to share my intense love of late-80’s Justice League International era DC). Anyway! Great episode! Next year is is BioShock’s 20th anniversary and I’d be over the moon to hear more about its production history :) I remain a staunch defender of audio logs in video games!

I remember playing Batman The Caped Crusader in the late 80's. I think that's the second Batman game. I remember really liking it even though I was pretty young and only had a vague understanding of who Batman was. I may even have played the first but my memory is a bit fuzzy on Spectrum games because we had a tonne because they were on tape so everyone just copied them and handed them out around school. Plus I would have been really tiny then and genuinely wouldn't have a clue who he was.

20 years of oblivion and it’s strange and charming world!!!

Jak & Dexter came out in 2001 so 25 year anniversary this year! To prep for next year both kingdom hearts and (equally beloved in my heart) timesplitters for their 25th anniversary

That one guy from that one movie

Overwatch 10th anniversary is this year, I love Overwatch still to this day, but it's made some "interesting" decisions in the decade since it's been released. Not to mention the copycat fever that hit big studios after it came out

Great episode! ❤️ Persona will celebrate its 30th anniversary this year 🤯 Would love an origins episode on that 🙏

Wonderful episode! Arkham Asylum was such a delight and surprise for me when I first played it on a recommendation from friends years ago. Glad to have this neat deep dive into it and the games! One of the series I love dearly is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the .hack series. CyberConnect2 has put out a delightful combination of anime, manga and games over the years. Plus a new entry to the series just got announced as well, .hack//Z.E.R.O! Even if you don’t do an episode on it, the series is a fun rabbit hole to fall down into

The Persona series is having it's 30th anniversary and Persona 5 is having it's 10th this year. Would make for an excellent episode
