I dont like Zeke’s plan either. I rhink that’s a very cold form of violence: he's not killing people today, he's erasing their future entirely. There's a massive moral arrogance in deciding for millions of people based on suffering they might never even experience/cause. It's extreme utilitarianism, but with zero regard for human dignity

4x15 maybe one of my favorite ep(not just in aot but in anime), it explains why zeke became the person he is right now. As a victim of toxic parenting, i completely understand the pain he went through(not to justify what he did tho). I remember i hated zeke with all my guts beforehand but all my hate basic ally gone after this ep because i related to him so much(and it lowkey turns me into zeke’s stan lol). This is how powerful this ep is(at least to me).

I really don’t think zeke’s plan is the worst. It wouldn’t explicitly kill anyone and all the eldians alive would still live a life and die in peace because they still have the rumbling as a deterrent. However, it’s still really messed up because it’s taking away the future of millions of people who could possibly be born, and forcing everyone to be unable to have a family. The reason why zeke thinks it’s okay to take away all those futures is because he thinks that all eldians are doomed to have terrible lives (because of all the terrible lives he’s seen as an eldian; even his childhood was terrible), so it’s actually mercy to just stop them from being born in the first place and not have those terrible lives. I still think the plan isn’t good though, since you can’t just decide to take away so many lives just because yours sucked. In my opinion, the “best” option is to do a test rumbling that would cripple the militaries of the world’s major powers. This would give enough time for eldia to get their own army and catch up with the rest of the world. And by that point, titans may be useless because of the advances in technology, so the need for eldians and the founding titan would be reduced, so the world may not target eldia as much as they are right now. Also, you still have the rumbling as a deterrent against the world invading paradis, and if they see the test rumbling, they probably don’t want to risk the whole thing from happening (I think this is similar to modern day nuclear weapons. Nobody uses them because it would mean mutual destruction for both countries.) However, this of course means that nothing will change and war will always continue on, but I think that’s part of human nature and will happen no matter what happens. As Erwin said, humans will always fight unless there are 1 or less people in the world. These are just my thoughts. There are no good options, but I believe this is the best imo. I mean, the alternative is the death of either a whole race or the rest of the world lol Actually amazing thought experiment for a problem with no solution where everyone is happy.

I would say his plan is better then the advanger „plan“. But its to passiv
