We have no idea how they should have done the egg height thing with the paper and markers! Do you guys know? And what's wrong with Romesh? HAHA...Just kidding. We like how he plays the 'always angry' role...he's funny. And clearly I (Lisa) don't know how to count to 100 seconds. 🥴🥴

Then prize task was “the most meaningful” - The dictionary, has the meanings of every word 😉🤣… so it is very meaningful. The prize task items DO go to the prize winner!

The prizes do go to the winner but they often give them back to the person donating them if it's something they don't actually want. Especially personal items.

Alex comes up with all the tasks, the whole show is his idea. Tim Key (the contestant on here) now helps, along with a small team of people but it's mostly Alex. I think the pens were just there to throw them off. Some things are just there randomly so they think they should use them or whatever.

Fun fact about Tims prize task: Tim Key winning the Edinburgh Comedy Award is the reason we have this show. Alex couldn’t go to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009 and was jealous. Especially because his best friend Tim Key won an award. So Alex decided that he will hand out an award at the Edinburgh Fringe himself in the next year. So he asked some comedians if they wanted to do some tasks for over a year and the join an evening event in Edinburgh where they would all find out how the others did. So in 2010 there was this event called The Taskmaster in Edinburgh. They had so much fun and did another gig in 2011. Then a TV station said it could be a show and that’s where it all began. 😊

It seems like Roisin suffered from this being the first series. She was genuinely scared of horses and they offered an alternative option that made it almost as hard to paint a picture, but despite doing the alternative she was placed last on the basis she 'hadn't done the task'. Yet cheaters in the series also got last place, not disqualified. This is something that was changed in subsequent series, where they came to avoid things competitors were genuinely afraid of and disqualified people who cheated. I think Greg found it easier to be mean to her because they're friends, after all he took the piss out of her in every introduction. Also, she was the only girl in the first series, among 4 other competitors and 2 judges, on a brand new show. I'm guessing she agreed to do it because she knew Greg and maybe for the career exposure.
