We liked it!...sort of! Does it make you all cough too? So strange. We had our oldest son try it and he immediately spit it out! LOL

Ewwww marmite 😝 never had it but I don’t like the smell, I also can’t eat cilantro or coriander because it tastes like soap/black liquorice but glad you guys enjoyed it, also the beans you need for classic beans on toast are Heinz beans, they are in a tomato sauce ☺️

Well done Guys...poor Lisa. Don't re-toast in the toaster, use the grill/broiler. Also my wife is Spanish and here in the UK but if you need help with anything, Spanish bureaucracy can be daunting. And El Corte Ingles I believe started as a tailors and the name means The English Cut, referring to suits and grew from there. I usually get clothes from their Sfera brand, but I prefer Zara, Pull and Bear, Berska which are all the same company which has other high street brands.

We didn't put it back in the toaster or the broiler. But I've heard that makes it better. I did not know that about El Corte Ingles. That's really cool to know. We like that store. Sometimes we go there just to look around 🤣 I like Zara too. Haven't shopped there yet, but I like their selection. Greg

Marmite is pure evil. I'm sure the 'lovers' are just messing with the rest of us 😅 It made you cough 😷😆 at least it didn't make you heave lol. I wish I'd specified which marmite ads were best, sorry, the best one is where they're going in people's houses to rescue the unused jars of marmite. Worth looking at in your own time :) I'd love to send you some stuff and I will sometime after Xmas. I'm sure people will send you loads of British goodies 😁 it'll be fun watching you try them. Heinz beans are good or Branston. And if you can get hold of it, HP brown sauce. It's great on top of beans on toast, cheese on toast, bacon or sausage sandwiches, loads of things 💚

The coughing part was so weird! LOL. There were soooo many ads. We just picked the first three, hahaha. HP Brown sauce sounds good. Oh wait, isn't brown sauce like gravy? or is it sweet?

No it's not like gravy. It's a tangy, sweet, peppery kind of taste and comes in a glass bottle or squeezy bottle. It's great with a full English breakfast too. Or even just on a chip butty. Chip butty is just chips (thick cut chips not French fries) on bread and butter as a sandwich. Lovely with a bit of salt and vinegar and brown sauce or tomato ketchup on. I've heard some people from the US say brown sauce is similar to something called A1 sauce.
