Do you ever wonder if someone on Youtube has not clicked subscribe because they hear free99 as 3.99 and they're cheap af 😂

Nick Jarrett

I was watching the clock, an hour and 13mins late. I was half expecting you to say theres a delay today due to 3 videos as you've binged celeb traitors

Nick Jarrett

Could you imagine if this series was only 5eps like they used to be?

Nick Jarrett

I think celeb traitors is marred a bit by the faithful being so useless. Each episode they change their minds on who they want to vote for instead of looking back and saying who they've always suspected from day 1 and makes more sense the longer it goes on. Instead each day its "i think its him or her". Oh and yeah end of last ep greg d said theyll see us again for the 50th ep

Nick Jarrett

You dont know Phil Mitchell or eastenders but if you pop your minds back to extras with ross kemp and vinnie jones (s01e02) ross kemp played grant mitchell his brother and they acted like a pair of bald thugs sometimes. Youll know shaun played barry in eastenders though and how steve kept calling him by his eastenders name "barry"

Noel Ballantine

The glasses task one of my favorites in this series I do love a good play on words

Christian Rolfe

Instantly taken to one funny bit when I see this group and its not happened yet. Such a great grouping

Karlitos

It probably doesn't happen but it just crossed my mind haha.

I went out after watching this earlier and I've forgotten what I wanted to say now, so I'll just say rub-a-dub-dub

I think about James accidentally breaking the ukulele and it looking more and more like Greg with every bit he ripped way too often, it’s one of my favourite pieces of taskmaster art moments. Also when James walks in the room and realises it’s drinking glasses and just goes “yup, of course” it just sums up Alex and how frustrating he can be but how clever he is,

This notification was incredible with no context 🤣

Just a heads up a I don’t know how far head you record, but episode 7 is pretty much regarded as one of the best episodes of all time of taskmaster. If you record in the evening or afternoon, grab a beer and strap in! I can’t believe you’re nearly at s8, you really do have a chance of catching up Edit: I haven’t even watched your reaction yet 😅

Jake Hamilton

Those speedos are not photoshopped in... 😝😂

Have you been letting Greg have too much coffee, Lisa?! 🤭 Only kidding - love how pumped you both get for Task Master. Just have to say, they're all great, but the next episode in this series is EPIC (for multiple reasons!) - can't wait for you to see it ☺️👌🏻

Kevin Hussey

It’s not just Alex, but Tim Key (who was in series one) who comes up with a lot of the task ideas. And things like playing on words/being more abstract certainly feel more Tim brain

Queen Naga 🌶️

Sorry Kevin but Tim key does NOT come up with the tasks, he was listed as a task consultant from s2 as he let Alex run ideas by him at the pub. Tim’s legacy with taskmaster is that he agreed to.be on s1, and that his winning the Perrier award at Edinburgh made Alex so jealous that he came up with the idea for taskmaster.. If you’ve seen no more jockeys, you’ll know Alex is much more about the wordplay than Tim key. Tim is more whimsical but good at scrabble. Alex loves wordplay, and was on the normal version of countdown before he was famous and wrote a book about trying to get a word in the dictionary. Tim appeared on the official taskmaster podcast several times where he has a running joke that changes every time between admitting he does nothing and he isn’t even paid to pretending it’s a 24/7 job. He’s also joked about it on several other podcasts. An interview was just released yesterday for the deadline London festival, it’s 40 minutes long with the whole production team and yet again Alex confirms he comes up with all the tasks. He allows the rest of the team to pitch ideas that he might think about and he liaises with the two Andys. His children often subconsciously influence him. The famous tasks that Alex didn’t personally come up with are the marmite task in s5 which was created by John robins (s17 contestant), an unspecified task that was created by s11 contestant Lee Mack’s som who was doing work experience at the taskmaster task, and in s14 they used three tasks from taskmaster New Zealand s2 namely grape, sabotage and milk. Sorry for being such a pedant but as a total taskmaster geek , it’s wild to think that Tim creates tasks when it’s a running joke that he doesn’t. In the last year he’s starred in his own film, another film, filmed the paper tv show in la, Alan partridge, the comedy show spy in New Zealand, released a book of poems called LA baby and been on a standup tour. Alex has said in his recent podcast rounds - RHLSTP and others that he doesn’t see Tim enough anymore. Edit : Sorry for the rant and happy to send any links to verify if needed. I’m a fountain of tm knowledge so maybe I got my back up when you said Tim key (s1) … I can name every cast member in seating order my friend.

I don’t think people realise how much of the show is down to Alex and the two Andys and their little production crew. Greg is very important obviously.
