Hey Patreon Legends! 🎉

The moment you've been waiting for is here — it's time to vote for the show that will replace Fawlty Towers on our Patreon lineup!

We asked for your nominations, you delivered in a big way, and after tallying everything up we had so many brilliant suggestions that we ended up with a Top 12 — because three shows tied for the final spots and we couldn't leave any of them out! 😄

Here's how the vote works:

🗳️ You each get 3 votes — use them wisely! Which ones are you most passionate about? We want to find the shows that genuinely excite the most people.

🏆 The top 5 most voted shows will go forward into a hat draw — and we'll do a proper random pick live to decide the winner. So even if your favourite isn't number one in the poll, it still has a chance!

The poll is below — get voting and let's find out what we're watching next! 💛 Voting ends 15th of June.

I've voted for I'm Alan Partridge, Bottom and Porridge. The latter doesn't get reacted to enough (it should though!)

Dryfesands

There's some *real* heavy hitters in this poll. Expect a close fight! I've gone for Blackadder, because, along with Fawlty Towers it's one of the most influential and brilliant touchstones of British Comedy (then we'll get the traditional debate on if it's worth watching the 1st Series . . . which it is by the way). Porridge is an absolutely essential watch too (arguably the best "traditional" sitcom ever made). Then there's "Red Dwarf" which is perhaps the only Sci-Fi comedy ever worth bothering with. "Bottom" is hugely anarchic and silly fun. Any "Partridge" is worth a watch too . . . And "Dibley" perfects a sort of cosey comedy the UK does well. I would love to see you guys take on a drama too (another plug for "Life On Mars").

🎵 Once in every lifetime 🎵 Comes a love like this 🎵 Don't mind me I'm just singing the theme tune to the show I just voted for 🎵

Queen Naga 🌶️

I’m going for Alan Partridge. It’s old school but still going - Tim key is in the recent series and there’s also a film. Also going for blackadder as it’s the first comedy show I ever watched when I was like 5 years old. I love keeping up experiences too, I watched it all the time if I was off school sick! Also grew up watching the vicar of dibley

Daniel H

I hope the ones that dont make it, com back around on another poll. They should really react to them all at some point 😅❤️

Steve Band

Voted for Blackadder, although just to say again that my view is that you shouldn't bother with the first series - start when it gets good in series 2!

Ash Jeffries

One Foot in the Grave is my favourite sitcom ever and doesn't get reacted to by loads of reactors. Writing and acting top drawer. Porridge is another masterpiece of wrlting and performance. Ronnie Barker's best work IMHO. The Vicar of Dibley is warm and sweet but deceptively risque, and the one I think you will immedlately fall for and enjoy the most. The lightest of the three options, pure British eccentricity. These are the three I've chosen. I do love a few of the others too but many of them do the rounds more regularly with other reactors, so I am in no rush to see them again right now. 😇😎🙏

Steve Band

I also voted for The Vicar of Dibley and Red Dwarf - although it was a very tough choice!

MJ87

Is it meant to cap it at 3 votes? I went to switch one and it let me chose a 4th before I unticked the other. Seems to let you select them all ! Still only chose 3 though (Red dwarf, VoD and Blackadder).

Shiro

Dibley, Dwarf and Bottom 100%

Chris

Blackadder or Alan partridge. In my view the others are quite average - poor

Steve Band

I also think Greg and Lisa would love The Vicar of Dibley 😊

Ash Jeffries

Definitely! They'll fall in love with those characters! 😃

GERRY VICKERS

If you can get 'Stath lets Flats' where you are, you would love it

The Johnson

You know what to do, Greg 😉

EuanTyumi

Too modern for the poll

Arlasoft

I rarely agree when people say to skip series, but with Blackadder series 1 is basically a completely different show, crucially with half the writing team missing. Imagine if series 1 of OFAH had Del as a bit of a wally and Rodney as the cocky wheeler-dealer who keeps getting knocked down by Trigger...

Lee Dellbridge

I've picked Red Dwarf, Bottom and Blackadder. I'd be happy with any though except the two I haven't seen.

Steve Band

If the voting carries on like it currently is, with three options way ahead of the others, I think you should select from those 3, not the top 5. I think it would annoy people if something won that was way behind the most popular.

Lee Dellbridge

I still feel with Blackadder you need to watch them all...it makes 2 to 4 even better then.

Lee Dellbridge

They aren't that much ahead. I doubt anyone would be upset if Red Dwarf or Porridge for example came out the hat. And remember they will watch them all eventually so it doesn't really matter.

SamSykes

Opted for Alan Partridge, Red Dwarf and Blackadder, but just letting you know (as others have) that it allowed me to choose more (I was in-between Blackadder and OFitG). Hoping some of the excellent 90s suggestions eventually get shown too (Spaced, Garth Marenghi's Dark Place, et.c). Hope you're all having a most excellent day 😊🖤

Kevin Hussey

Just a suggestion, and of course there’s no problem if you think it’s rubbish, but how about weighting the draw slightly, so our collective top choices have more chance of prevailing? Say put the top vote winner’s name in three times, second twice and the rest once. All have a chance but it could be a bit more reflective of the prevailing wind

Alice

I never see people reacting to OFitG or keeping up appearances so hope to see those some day even if they don't win now

Zach

I know they're not on the list, but I stand by you need to watch Dad's Army, Ghosts and Stath Lets Flats

Karlitos

Yeah, I agree with that. Each to their own I suppose.

Erin

One Foot in the Grave is one of my top ones too. I think a lot of people remember the main character and the catchphrase but don't remember the depth and the surrealism.

Erin

I like how KillerMcKnight did it - watching series 1 last, when they had already gotten to know the characters.

I think just before you wrap up ‘Fawlty Towers’, you should check out the Documentary from 2009, ‘Fawlty Towers Re-opened’ which covers the whole history and production of the series, with the original cast and production team. It’s a really fascinating watch and it’s on YouTube.

Ominous

I like your style 👍

The Gene Genie

I think you have to take into account you think they’ll like rather than what you like but they may surprise us 😊

Mark P

I agree on the vicar of dibley. Funny, and at times quite emotional but a great watch that I would be happy to revisit again 😀

Jeffrey44

When it comes to Blackadder they should really skip the first series. I don't think they should bother with series 3 or 2 either. When it comes to series 4, episode 6 is the only one they really need to watch. It's a very overrated show really.

Dryfesands

You're in a minority, but more power to you.

EuanTyumi

Red Dwarf needs more votes 🥺

Cat

Went for Blackadder, Alan Partridge and Red Dwarf :) Yes the eternal 1st series of blackadder debate! I think while you don’t *need* need to watch it for the rest to be funny, it’s worth it for completionist reasons and the evolution (or reverse evolution!) of the characters over the seasons, plus there are some returning actors who play non-returning characters with contrasting personalities, which is fun to watch!

Daz

No Gavin & Stacey as an option? That show is so full of heart - I'd love to see you react to that.

Zoë

Ab Fab my beloved

Ash Jeffries

Erin and Mark - completely agree on both counts! 🙏

unlucker

Young ones, Blackadder and Red Dwarf are all so good

Paul S

💯 % Absolutely Fabulous. No one ever reacts to it and it’s legendary

Lee Devenny

If Blackadder wins, please skip the first season, not the best but Season 2, 3 & 4 are absolute comedy!

Christian Rolfe

Early doors, what? Its not an option? So much better than so many that are.

The Gene Genie

Who’s voting for The Vicar of Dibley!… Seriously give your heads a wobble 😊

The Gene Genie

The Gene Genie voted for ‘One Foot in the Grave’…Probably the biggest UK sitcom of the 90s along with OFAH. Vicar of Dibley is ok if you that sort of thing but the likes of Blackadder & Red Dwarf are far superior

The Gene Genie

Everyone does and then returns to season 1 afterwards 😊

The Gene Genie

You have great taste. Two of my favourite sitcoms OFITG and Porridge 👌🏼

Sexy Biscuit

Loads of fantastic choices but I hope red dwarf or Bottom Wins! Bottom especially is so funny :)

MJ87

Have you checked out After work reactions? He's doing keeping up appearances on his patreon now and did OFITG a few years back, it might even be on his you tube.
