A guy goes out to party, only to be called out by someone sitting at a nearby table the moment he reaches the bar. Seems they have a very particular dress code requirement for the club, one that is very much mandatory and one they are very much happy to enforce onto him.

New year, new experiments. This is a fairly different style that makes use of fourth wall breaking effects and such to try and make it look a bit more interesting, as well as heavier borders and linking the background up in a different way to add a bit more spice. I've seen some examples of this on DA and wanted to try it out. Feels really neat. :)

The background is mainly remade based off a really good image I found of a nightclub that just perfectly aligned the color coding for this sequence. Rather then just pull another google image and be done with it though, I went and remade the background in my own style, using only a bit of the original as the bottom layer to catch some of the holes I missed while drawing. I think it looks... interesting?

Also very funny that I put a bunch of effort to get specific parts of said BG to look good... and then covered most of it up anyways. WELP. :)

As for the content, seems whoever calls out the infraction gets to enjoy the enforced shift in 'dress code' for themselves? At the very least, they get to enjoy it for a while after. Not sure what kind of party he was planning before but he has a new party to attend to now. :)

There should be even more detail in there eventually, but I was running late and I need to clean up my dropbox a bit to get the newer stuff inside before I push the file size too big, so for now it's flat color on the character. I'll do some proper shading when I can and then update this post with them, likely sending out a second alert that it's been updated.

I spent most of the day getting a spreadsheet made up for all the patrons and their tiers and such, which is mostly functional, I just have to go through it all and correct anything that it lists wrong as well as add anyone that's missing from the list... and other stuff... so actually kinda close but not quite. Considering my old method was a text file that was... very rough, this should be a proper way to manage things. :)

I haven't started to contact anyone about their requests yet since I wanted to make sure I had something almost working to manage it all, but I'll be doing that fairly soon. Work week is starting up so I'll be spending my off time getting the spreadsheet as close to functional and correct as possible and then it'll be back to business.
