Here's our second set of blueprints from Crimsoncrest! Nauda's progress this book wasn't flashy, but she's building back up to the point where her new blueprint starts to show its full worth.

Huh, I was kinda expecting a more traditionally proportioned statue of her, but from the looks of it it'll probably be much more abstract by the end.

Nauda might often feel self conscious about her lack of soulcrafting speed over Theo and Fiyu, but slow and steady fits her build very well. Plus once bitten, twice shy. I wonder what her old recovery teacher is thinking about her progress, especially since they parted after her outburst. Is he proud ? Envious ? Or did it give him some enthusiasm for trying again ? It would be nice to see him again.

Incidentally, that character will reappear in the upcoming book! Part of making the next conflict seem large is touching on a wide swath of the cast.

It's very symbolic on a couple different levels.

a belated thought -- traditional proportions would give her spindly leg towers and a pretty tiny 9th floor -- especially since she's/ Tatians aren't described as having hobbit proportions 😆 (and I just realized her statue doesn't wear the dresses she does, which...might be an argument against her getting an armament dress longer term, aside from the top many armaments issue)
