I don't do monthly updates very often, because most months are already packed with weekly chapters and there's no need for more posts. From time to time I add these, however, and recent months have been so busy I think it's one of those times. Msharlo1 also requested that I talk about my different projects, so this post will be a little introduction to what I've worked on and what I'll be doing in the future.

Throne of Time: My latest serialization has been my most viral, performing well on RoyalRoad (and bringing many of you here). I suspect most of you reading already know about this! If you somehow don't, there's more information about my time loop progression fantasy at the link. Because this story is tightly-plotted, it will definitely be a mid-length fantasy series.

The Weirkey Chronicles: My longest-running and overall most popular series is TWC, a cultivation-inspired series with an elaborate magic system set within the Nine Worlds, a realm of nine wildly different dimensions. Currently the twelfth book is running on Patreon. This series will last a good while longer, as it spans a huge setting and will take the characters from the bottom to the top of the power scale.

Depthless Hunger: Over the past several years I took a shot at a huge progression fantasy with multiple systems competing within the same meta-system. Sadly, it was never very popular, but I pushed hard to complete the whole first saga that brings things to a satisfying conclusion. The fourth book (of five) is coming out this month and you can still get bonus content at the retired Cognosticon Patreon account. One of the things on my task list is to bundle all that content and bring it over here.

Past Trilogies: Over my career I've completed a variety of other trilogies, ranging from LitRPG (New Game Minus) to epic fantasy (The Brightest Shadow). My most popular trilogy was Street Cultivation, an urban fantasy in which a cultivation world has been modernized, with qi thoroughly commercialized. For the most part these series are all complete and closed, though I still have love for them. I recently put out a TBS novella for fans of that series... though it's really not a good introduction to that project at all, just for those who loved the characters.

Author Collaboration: Some of you have urged me to do cross-promotion, and I've tried, it's just taken forever to put together. Sometime soon (hopefully) there will be a big anthology between myself and eleven other authors coming out, with all proceeds going to charity. More on this when it finally releases!

TWC Deluxe Edition: Long-time patrons will remember that a special deluxe omnibus of the first three books in TWC will be coming out with Wraithmarked. The art has been done for a while, the project was just delayed due to their schedule. In theory the release of the fancy special edition is supposed to be in 2027, so look forward to that.

Traditional Publishing and Science Fiction: Discussions have been quietly going on in the background, and I haven't wanted to talk too much about them because nothing is settled. But there is Big Five interest in ToT and TWC, so you will hopefully see some more physical books from me in time. Hopefully I will also be able to publish some science fiction for the first time, though cross your fingers that things actually work out.

Phew, okay. I think that's everything. As much as I love my various projects, I hope that the overall intensity will quiet down so that I can focus. I have more irons in the fire than usual because some of these projects have been waiting on other factors for so long.

It's a dream come true to be able to spend my time working as an author and I'm motivated to try to do everything because I truly love the work. Whatever your interest in all this, thank you for supporting my career. ^-^

Cross mention is a good way for us readers to discover new authors. That’s how I found ToT - from the author of The Years of Apocalypse.

fwiw, that's the same way I did

I'm so glad the big five are maybe getting their heads out their asses on ToT and TWC 🤞🤞🤞 super behind on everything because I got real sick but I'm so looking forward to catching up soon. I may get my booster shots and do nothing but read your stuff plus super supportive for a week 😆

I enjoyed The Years of Apocalypse and I was grateful that Uranium Phoenix approached me for cross-promotion! It definitely helped this story get off to a strong start.

Get better soon, and hope you enjoy!

I started reading when you were putting out Streetwise Cultivation and I am honestly still so happy with how that story ended. I'd love to see a return to it but the ending was so good that I understand leaving it alone. I love TWC and ToT and can't wait for more! Thank you for all the fantastic stories.

Always happy to hear from people who have been around since SC! If you've liked multiple of my stories since, I hope you'll enjoy more I do from here. ^-^

>Hopefully I will also be able to publish some science fiction for the first time, Three book projects? Damn girl, I wish I had 33.3% of your productivity. Good luck! I hope everything works out.

sarahlin

I wrote a standalone science fiction novel several years ago that has, sadly, mostly sat unread in publishing people's inboxes. T-T But maybe it will see the light of day! If it actually does well and they want more, then yeah, I'll be juggling a lot.

Follow up question, is your banner above related to these various works? There's no Xuhriha :(

sarahlin

The banner is composed of character groups from various stories, but Throne of Time isn't represented there, sorry.

Ditto. TBS was special. Street Cultivation is probably the series I talk about the most with friends. It always struck me as such an Ernest take on our world and the world of Wuxia cultivators. But I loved everything you put out. I understand Depthless hunger wasn't successful and not worth continuing thanks for giving it a satisfying conclusion! I'm happy ToT is having more success!
