> We'll see how people react to this cliffhanger, haha. Me at the start of the chapter : "it can't be that bad hahaha" Me at the end of the chapter : "o h"

Yeah, I'm mainly curious how people will take this one. You have the correct idea but I can see impressions going other ways.

Teragen will probably just hold Rick down and tickle him until he wets his pants. Classic response. If I've seen it once, I've seen it a thousand times.

Sean Achterman

Never let it be said that Rick doesn't have the guts of a man a thousand times his strength. Seriously, dude tries to avoid taking risks he doesn't have to, but when it comes to the ones he does, follows through.

sarahlin

Yup. This story is taking the typical turn from cultivation to tickling fetishes.

Considering he's been planning on this for a while, I guess he's been banking on this not killing him outright. Is only retaliating hard enough to *almost* kill someone proper etiquette in this society? Or is he maybe counting on Teragen to use his superpowered perception to notice the medicine he just took? Would Teragen almost kill him just to be a bro? Considering the perks of getting beaten up by a superpowered person in this world, I have to wonder if this is just one of the downsides of being rich and powerful in this world. Constantly getting assaulted by people hoping to make it big. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdwBsjhhXGI Like, instead of just every now and then like in our world.

sarahlin

There's not an established etiquette (and what Rick did would be stupid against a lot of people), but you'll find out more next time. As for people trying to assault the strongest fighters in this world, I have considered that they'd have bodyguards who are weaker than them simply to disincentivize numerous challenges.

Scoreon

You love being evil, don't you? 😂

Aaron

Soooo happpy!!!

Alexander Dupree

Let's avoid risk by drinking death defying healing potions and getting into a fight with a nuclear bomb in the shape of a person.
