[SOLVED]⚠️ Critical bug with standalone maps on ETS 2 & ATS 1.56 (Patreon)
Content
EDIT: SCS Software has corrected the bug. Download the latest ATS/ETS 2 version if you haven't already done so.
Dear Utopians,
Following the release of versions 1.56 of ATS and ETS 2 by SCS, a major bug has been identified: when creating a new profile, it is no longer possible to select the map module corresponding to a standalone map.
This makes it completely impossible to start a new game on certain standalone maps, notably Grand Utopia and Grand Utopia of America. The More American Cities and More European Cities mods are not affected, as they are add-ons for the basic SCS maps.
The problem affects all standalone maps, which clearly indicates that it is a bug on SCS's side, and not a problem related to the maps themselves.
❗For the moment, there is no solution, so we must wait until SCS releases a fix. The bug has already been reported several times on the official SCS forum, in the section dedicated to bug reports for version 1.56:https://forum.scssoft.com/viewforum.php?f=342
✅ Saves that have already been created will function normally, even if you replace your old version of Grand Utopia (1.18.3) with the new one (1.18.4) in the mod manager.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
