Dear Utopians 🇺🇸✨

I am very pleased to present a brand new participatory concept, designed to strengthen the link between the community and the world of Grand Utopia of America (initially. It is quite possible that this concept will be applied to Grand Utopia when the time comes!). : the Lore Factory 🏭

🧠 What is the Lore Factory?

It’s a community creative space, entirely dedicated to the creation of fictional characters (for now — though it’s possible the concept will later expand to include other parts of the lore, such as historical events, companies, associations, or local festivals...).You can now invent your own inhabitants of the Utopian world: a local restaurant owner, an influential mayor, a harbor master, a young dreamer, a forgotten celebrity, an astronaut… in short, lives that enrich the history and depth of the country.

Each character can be simply outlined or deeply developed depending on your inspiration. The goal isn’t to write a novel, but to bring your personal touch to the universe we’ve been building together for a little over a year now.

🏛️ How does it work?

Everything takes place on the Discord server, in the new channel: #🌀lore-factory

Inside, you’ll find:• a clear and complete guide explaining the participation rules,• and a character sheet template to copy and paste, based on the same matrix used on the official GUOA wiki.

You’ll be able to write your character’s key information (name, birth, occupation, etc.) and, if you wish, develop their story through several sections.Some parts can remain empty — in that case, I’ll personally complete them using AI, while still respecting your original intent.

💡 Who can participate?

First of all, please note that everyone can view the sheets on Discord!However, participation in discussions and character creation is reserved for Patreon members with an active paid subscription.And to keep things fair, integration priorities will depend on the subscription tier —the higher your level of support, the faster your creation will be reviewed.

Regarding the sheets, they can have two statuses:• 🛠️ WIP → sheet under construction (still being written or developed)• 👌 READY → completed and ready to be reviewed by me for potential integration into the official lore

The tags ✅ ONLINE and ❌ OFF are reserved for the development team, to indicate sheets that have been integrated or declined.

🧩 What next?

Validated characters will be added to the official wiki of Grand Utopia of America, with credit to their creator. But that’s not all… 👀Officially integrated profiles are meant to be referenced or even used in-game, through companies, tourist signs, buildings, or events — all in line with their story and role within the world of GUOA.

In other words, your creation could truly come to life inside the game.

🤔 Why this project?

Because Utopia has always been a living and collective universe!But this project also allows me to thank in a meaningful way those who support it, without affecting the free mod ecosystem, while giving them the opportunity to leave their mark on Utopia — to enrich its memory, and to add a face, a name, and a story to every corner of our archipelago.

Je suis très heureux de vous présenter un tout nouveau concept participatif, imaginé pour renforcer le lien entre la communauté et l’univers de Grand Utopia of America (dans un premier temps. Il est fort possible que ce concept soit appliqué à Grand Utopia le moment venu !) : la Lore Factory 🏭

🧠 Qu’est-ce que la Lore Factory ?

C’est un espace créatif communautaire, entièrement dédié à la création de personnages fictifs (là aussi dans un premier temps, il est possible que le concept soit élargis à la création d'autres pan du lore tels que des évènements historiques , des entreprises, associations ou fêtes locales ...).Vous pouvez désormais inventer vos propres habitants du monde Utopien : un restaurateur local, une maire influente, un capitaine de port, un jeune rêveur, une célébrité oubliée, un astronaute… bref, des vies qui enrichissent l’histoire et la profondeur du pays.

Chaque personnage peut être simplement esquissé ou longuement développé selon votre inspiration. Le but n’est pas d’écrire un roman, mais d’apporter votre touche personnelle à l’univers que nous construisons ensemble depuis un peu plus d'un an maintenant.

🏛️ Comment ça fonctionne ?

Tout se passe sur le serveur Discord, dans le nouveau salon : #🌀lore-factory

À l’intérieur, vous trouverez :• un guide clair et complet expliquant les règles de participation,• et un modèle de fiche à copier-coller, basé sur la même matrice utilisée sur le wiki officiel de GUOA.

Vous pourrez ainsi rédiger les informations clés de votre personnage (nom, naissance, profession, etc.) et, si vous le souhaitez, développer son histoire à travers plusieurs rubriques.Certaines sections peuvent rester vides : dans ce cas, je me chargerai de les compléter à l’aide de l’IA, tout en respectant votre intention initiale.

💡 Qui peut participer ?

Avant tout, sachez que tout le monde peut consulter les fiches sur le Discord !En revanche, la participation aux discussion et la création de fiches sont réservées aux membres Patreon disposant d'un abonnement payant actif. Et pour garder un semblant d'équité, les priorités d’intégration dépendront du niveau d’abonnement :plus votre soutien est élevé, plus votre création sera étudiée rapidement.

Concernant les fiches, elles peuvent avoir deux états :• 🏗️ WIP → fiche en cours de construction (travail de rédaction en cours),• 👌 READY → fiche terminée et prête à être étudiée par moi-même pour une intégration potentielle au lore officiel.

Les tags ✅ ONLINE et ❌ OFF sont, quant à eux, réservés à l’équipe de développement pour signaler les fiches intégrées ou refusées.

🧩 Et ensuite ?

Les personnages validés seront ajoutés au wiki officiel de Grand Utopia of America, avec mention du créateur. Mais ce n’est pas tout… 👀Les fiches officiellement intégrées auront pour vocation première d’être mentionnées ou même utilisées in-game, à travers des entreprises, des panneaux touristiques, des bâtiments ou des événements — le tout en cohérence avec leur histoire et leur rôle dans le monde de GUOA.

Autrement dit, votre création pourra réellement prendre vie dans le jeu.

🤔 Pourquoi ce projet ?

Parce que l’Utopie a toujours été un univers vivant et collectif !Mais ce projet me permet aussi de remercier concrètement celles et ceux qui soutiennent le projet, sans affecter l’écosystème gratuit des mods, tout en leur donnant la possibilité de laisser leur empreinte dans l'utopie, d’enrichir sa mémoire et d’ajouter un visage, un nom, une histoire à chaque recoin de notre archipel.

Je suis impatient de découvrir les premiers personnages que vous imaginerez.Que la création Utopienne commence ! 🌅
