Hello dear utopians 👋

It is with great enthusiasm that I launch a new consultation of the Grand Utopia of America Advisory Council. As members, you have the power to actively participate in the decisions that will shape our american territory!

So I'm asking you to decide on the postcode system that will be used to organise the towns and districts of the archipelago. There are two options, and it's your choice that will decide!

Here are the options in detail:

OPTION 1️⃣ : County identification by letters

In this option, each county would be identified by two letters. The postcode format would therefore be : AA-1122. Here's how it's structured:

AA : Letters identifying the county.

11 : City number assigned in alphabetical order.

22 : If the city is subdivided into districts, this number would identify them (otherwise, 00 would be used).

Example for the Lochburn county (which is the 6th in alphabetical order of counties):

LB-0800 : Utopia (city number 08 in alphabetical order, no districts).

LB-0801 : Utopia (with a ‘01’ district).

OPTION 2️⃣ : Identifying counties by number

In this option, each county would be identified by a number instead of letters, still following the alphabetical order of the counties. The rest of the structure would remain identical to Option 1: 00-1122. Here's how it's structured:

06 : Lochburn county number (6th in alphabetical order).

11 : City number in alphabetical order.

22 : Neighbourhood identifier (or 00 if no neighbourhood exists).

Example for the county of Lochburn:

06-0800 : Utopia (city number 08 in alphabetical order, no districts).

06-0801 : Utopia (with a ‘01’ district).

C’est avec enthousiasme que je lance un nouveau Conseil Consultatif de Grand Utopia of America. En tant que membres, vous avez le pouvoir de participer activement aux décisions qui façonneront notre territoire !

Je fais donc appel à vous pour décider du système de codes postaux qui sera utilisé pour organiser les villes et quartiers de l'archipel. Deux options sont en jeu, et c'est votre choix qui tranchera ! Voici en détails les possibilités qui se présentent à vous :

OPTION 1️⃣ : Identification des comtés par lettres

Dans cette option, chaque comté serait identifié par deux lettres. Le format du code postal serait donc : AA-1122. Voici comment il est structuré :

AA : Lettres d'identification du comté.

11 : Numéro de la ville attribué par ordre alphabétique.

22 : Si la ville est subdivisée en quartiers, ce chiffre les identifierait (sinon, on utiliserait 00).
