This is one of my favorites.. Especially that scene when Daryl gets drunk and lets everything out.. Phenomenal scene

Deke_HFX

Absolutely agree.

Deke_HFX

Emily Kinney (Beth) is 28 years old playing a 18 year old and it's totally believable. Norman Reedus is 44 irl at this point of the series. Daryl's age is never stated and he wasn't in the comic books. (Neither is Beth for that matter) But since Merle was early 50's, Daryl would be early 40's. They have great on-screen chemistry imo.

Deke_HFX

Yes, the discussion about Merle's meth dealer is an Easter Egg/Shout-Out to Jesse Pinkman, a Breaking Bad character. B*tch certainly was his favorite word saying it 54 times in 5 seasons. Which is small potatoes compared to Deadwood's Al Swearengen who said c*cksucker 113 times in 3 seasons. Another great show HBO axed far too soon.

Beth being played by a 28 yr old is CRAZY she looks so young (but their chemistry is def so good, I havent said anything because I know shes a lot younger but... I ship it)

Deke_HFX

What's even crazier is the word was used 279 times in total by all the characters in 3 seasons (36 episodes). The crashout online back when it was canceled before it was finished was real.

Amin Kaza

If you really analyze what Daryl is saying.. I think "the TV show" he was talking about was definitely Breaking Bad.. And that guy was obsessed with it so much (because of his kids loving it) to the point that he talked like Jesse lol

Ryan Ryvenclaw

This is my favorite episode, and I think it's funny because neither of these characters are in the books.

Christian Kim

My mind keeps thinking its an ink stain on teh carpet XDDD I hope its not ^^

Licha Reacts!

I think I would cry if I ever got a big stain on that carpet 🤣 it’s Trevor’s little mouse toy haha <3

My_Cousin_Mose

On my first watch I thought this episode was slow a boring and I've always skipped it on rewatches. Watching it again now though it's a really good episode with some great character building for Daryl. You called it on Beth haha.

Man I remember watching this when I was a teen and thought this was such a slow episode - watching it now, damn, might be a favorite. Great dialogue!!
