Nah, that ending is terrible. Glad you were able to finish it. I really enjoyed your reactions and analysis throughout the whole thing.

It’s still the best show ever. The end was just simply rushed. The last 3 eps can’t even ruin it with how peak the show was. IMO. I also think it's best to sit with it, such a complex journey deserves some intrspection. I will say one thing, a. lof of people bring up Jon's lineage. Which is first, i was upset too. However - the breaking of the wheel (Dany's earnest ambition) means that names don't matter anymore. A new system was actually created. Was it perfect? No. And will it turn messy again - probably but again the show and story is built on the flaws and inner battles of men. Just my take and a second watch really let me see some clues I missed the first time. My only big issue was the speed. We deserved 10 seasons of S7 and 8. We were cheated. Regardkess - Loved your journey and your insights - can’t wait for HoTD! PS. The unsullied mentioned revolting but Sansa reminded them the entire North would go to war with them and another battle begins with more death. anyway - you're the best and one of my all time fave reactors.

I see bran saying he couldn’t be lord because he was playing the game of thrones. His gifts was able to make him position the pieces the way he needed them to get him the throne. Well done boy

I'd be curious to hear your thoughts a few years later on a re-watch. I have only watched through the entire series once and up to season 6 maybe 4 times. So this was the first full re-watch I've done and I found myself being a lot more lenient on the later seasons where as the first time I had very similar feelings to yourself. Don't get me wrong, the last 2 episodes are pretty trash but I didn't hate the rest of season 7 and 8 like I did originally. Anyways it was great watching this along with you, looking forward to catching up on House of the Dragon and True Detective.
