I think Aemond is acting the way that he is because he knows how important both he and Vhagar are for team green.

Dresdon

All of Alicents sexual stuff is made up for the show. Its cringe. Writers trying too hard to make you not like the greens. No foot fetish and no criston cole in the source material. Hes a supporter of the greens and their protector. thats it.

Cassandra

Do I think Aemond’s actions this episode were a little extreme? Yes, maybe. However, let’s not pretend Aegon has been the best brother, or that Aemond doesn’t have valid reasons to feel the way he does about him

I always thought Aegon couldn’t really do anything to Aemond because he was the only hope for the greens winning the war. Aegon knew he needed Vhager and Aemond to challenge the blacks dragons.

hell yeah Aemond was trying to kill his brother he is next in line for the throne

I think Rhaenys kept turning back becuase she wanted to try to end the war by taking Vhagar out she could have fled to dragonstone Aemond wasn't chasing her also I think she felt remorse because she didn't cook them at the coronation like Daemon said she should have

Stay mad Queen - Vhagar

Tronik485

Wow. Appointing the only person with military experience as Hand wasn't such a bad idea? Incredible

Tronik485

Rhaenys flew to kill Aemond because: 1) she felt guilty for not killing all the Greens when she had the chance; 2) Rooks' Rest is very close to Dragonstone, and Rhaenys wasn't sure Aemond wouldn't fly right after her to launch a surprise attack on the castle. She'd already fallen into Kohl's trap and couldn't know what else was in his war plan.

Tronik485

Fun fact: If you rewatch GoT season 3, you'll see that Davos sent Gendry by boat to Rook's Rest, as it was the closest place to both Dragonstone and the capital at the same time

Sunfyre is gorgeous

Cassandra

Funny, because Aegon didn’t seem to care that much about what his brother did. If he had actually done something or punished Aemond for his actions, Jaehaerys’s death might have been avoided. Instead, Aegon welcomed his brother into his council as if nothing had happened

Cassandra

my point is that Aegon wasn’t mad at Aemond for escalating the war, had he, Aemond would’ve get a different reaction from Aegon when he came home and mind you not once has Aegon ever pointed a finger at Aemond when it comes to his son murder
