lol how does she haave a point her brother kidnapped his sister and her father killed both his brother and father and was demanding for his head too. Ned Stark out of everyone involved with the rebellion had reason to do it. and that is why i do think she will turn dark. shes already showing signs of the “blood of the dragon” mentality and i think her not wanting kl to be a waste is foreshadowing to what she will do later but shit who knows she may actually be justified like ned stark.

Yeah Ned’s honor did have limits, such as “kidnapping” his sister, burning his father alive, and strangling his brother to death. He ain’t gonna be loyal to the soil after that.

I love listening to your theories. I can't say I agree with your theory on Arya, Bran, and the gods but go off queen.

Dany has no understanding of what sort of man her father was at this point, though. Viserys always painted Aerys as a good king in the stories he told her and left out all the awful things he did. Given what she knows at this time, it's pretty reasonable for her to (mistakenly) think Ned Stark was a traitor who betrayed his king for dishonorable reasons.

I know a lot of people who have the same interpretation as you, I'm definitely not knocking it! But personally I think George takes so much time showing us Dany's inner monologue questioning her own decisions, wanting to protect rather than rule, trying to figure out the most peaceable way. If anything her biggest flaw is she's pretty naïve at times. I don't see dark Dany myself. I don't see her taking king's landing at all in the books if I'm being honest. I don't agree with all his takes and theories but I think David Lightbringer's video on Dany is bang on to how I see her. But that's just how I read it!

My show is on!!! I deffo wanna come back after and give my thoughts but I don't wanna forget to mention - and please ignore me if advice like this is unneeded or unwelcome! - if you point the mic higher/lower and slightly to the side rather than right at the mouth it'll help lower those puffy plosive sounds when you say b words or p words (or running a high pass filter on the audio track while editing helps too!) I usually listen to you on speakers not headphones so I didn't notice it before! But it feels obnoxious to point it out, it's not bad, but just in case it's helpful to you 💜

It's a shame Rickon and Shaggydog were basically treated as an afterthought throughout the show.

Still fascinated by how, because it’s a fantasy book, Licha seems to immediately accept that anything supernatural that gets mentioned must be real. Particularly how the possibility that the gods don’t exist, but this is a faux-medieval world so everyone’s very religious, apparently hasn’t crossed her mind. Though I suppose deciding that the Seven aren’t real is a step in the right direction! (If it is the right direction, of course – I’m just saying that so far, nothing in the books has suggested to me that an atheistic interpretation is an impossibility.) I mean yes, she’s moved on to “Maybe these gods aren’t real, they’re just powerful immortal beings,” but not yet to “Maybe they WERE powerful beings, but they died ages ago and all the talk of gods is just memories of them,” let alone “They never existed in the first place.” Likewise, ghosts. The unquestioned acceptance that any ghost story is real. And, my favorite example in this video, the silver swords. Hopefully, one of the questions Licha has is “Wait, are people just making this **** up?” 19:00 or so: Aw, you missed it. Yep, Daddy Reed, i.e. HOWLand, has a moving castle. One of GRRM’s better inside jokes, along with the Tully Muppets. 35:15: “Since when does Martin write smut?” Oh you sweet summer child…

Keep reading the books, as well as The World of Ice and Fire, and it will be possible to plot Dany's path, especially if you keep the final season of the show in mind and read George's original outline.
