Happy June!! Here's our schedule for the month! We are adding more Breaking Bad to the schedule! Yay! We are also starting the Original Trilogy of Star Wars this month! (Movie votes will be after the Trilogy is done!) Lastly, I am taking a break on the Book Vlogs on the 20th since my parents will be in FL to visit! This month is going to be super fun and I am so excited! <3

As someone who’s watched many reacts to Star Wars, If you’ve never seen any of the films before, it is better if you watch them in order 1-6. George Lucas made the films to be viewed that way, not release order which is obsolete now that we have all the episodes . There’s no reason to watch this series in release order anymore, It’s like reading the ending of a book first, and then going back to read the beginning ! I’m telling you, it will be very much a missed opportunity if you’ve never seen Star Wars before and you don’t view it in order . Based on other reactors, you’ll enjoy it a lot more watching in order ! You can also do the machete order which is the second best way: 4,5,1,2,3,6 !

She said she starting the original trilogy (4,5,6) this month. 4 and 5 show on the June calendar above, albeit she is apparently late on 4. Has she said she reacting to the prequels (1, 2, 3)?

Oi vey 🤣 no George didn't make the films to be watched 1-6. The additions of episode numbers to the original trilogy were added in a later release, after the idea to make the prequels spawned. There are plenty of arguments to be made that the prequels assume you've already seen the original trilogy. Conversely, there are certain payoffs that you can get by watching chronologically as you've suggested. Both ways are perfectly acceptable, she did not in any way mess up by choosing to watch them in release order.
