I had the same issue with music last year after going through some shit. I've started to about one day a week pick one or two albums new or old to listen through. Then about once or twice a month I'll buy one that I liked in a record if I can find it. Goes really hard when cooking/cleaning/working to toss on a record and just let it spin.

Dude I had the same issue with the steam deck, got mine last christmas and bought some games for it that i was gonna play but it’s not even compatible. the steam deck is so good but some of the games i wanted to play i cant. which is my big complaint. but its super good and i dont ever wanna get rid of it. i’ve been playing hollow knight and lego batman on there and its amazing.

with the music thing, i’ve felt that. i fortunately get the privilege to listen to music while i work. but i do find myself going back to albums i grew up with. i do think getting like a mp4 or an ipod and loading it with albums would be the best way to actually sit down and listen to albums. the choice of literally endless albums is very overwhelming for me too. i usually buy vinyls and cds as well to hold me accountable to actually listen to albums ive been putting off on listening to.
