Awwwww; but *we like* Mushy Puddle Teeg :(😅 Also you look amazing in green (respectfully), and was that on purpose?😅

Worth the watch but understandably tough viewing. Steven King isn't an author that can be pigeonholed.

Nobody is better than you for reacting to things like this, but I was worried for you going into this one! It was great, of course, and I'm glad you're past it now!

2026-11-06 03:00 I felt with you. Still have electric chair as an option for execution: Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee. Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma. "On the day of my judgment, when I stand before God, and He asks me why did I kill one of his true miracles, what am I gonna say? That it was my job? My job?" The last execution by electrocution in US was in 2020 in Tennessee. --The inmate chose electric chair over lethal injection because of recent problems w/lethal injection. The last person to be executed by electric chair without the choice of an alternative method was a woman in 2002 in Alabama.

I love every one of Stephen King's movies, and every time Frank Darabont directed A Stephen King novel, it was a hit. There are so many more Stephen King movies I would love to see you react to. This one and the Shawshank Redemption are two of my favorites. Here are some I don't think you have seen: Misery (1990), Dead Zone (1983), The Mist (2007), Stand by Me (1986), The Shining (1980), IT (2017), Carrie (1976), Silver Bullet (1985), and so many more.

+1 for Misery (1990), Stand by Me (1986), and The Shining (1980)

Watching The Green Mile definitely takes a toll emotionally. It is an amazing story by an amazing storyteller and beautifully acted throughout, but a heartbreaking film. This film really sheds a light on true goodness, true evil, and the heart-wrenching dilemma faced by men who know in their hearts that someone is innocent, but have no way to prove it. Add to that the suffering that John Coffey had to endure every day because of all the ugliness in the world. John was clearly too good for this world! "I'm tired, boss. Tired of bein' on the road, lonely as a sparrow in the rain. I'm tired of never having me a buddy to be with, to tell me where we's going to or coming from, or why. Mostly, I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world every day. There's too much of it - it's like pieces of glass in my head, all the time. Can you understand?" John was clearly too good for this world!
