Lee Aguera

That's a booked schedule. Personally, and this is just how I was raised, I'd have a day off. Doesn't matter what day, just pick one day a week you're not making content and you can just breathe and decompress and relax. Burn out is absolutely a thing, especially with that shit HBO is pulling on YouTube with you. Ya'll have the Band of Brothers community watching now, and those men and women have been die hard fans and supporters for 20 years. Although that GTA Andreas is pretty tempting. Might have to check out the gaming channel.

Wil Castillo

You should watch Ready Player One! You'll love it!

Kevin

I thought she took today (11/18/24) as her day off? Just joking. I agree that creator burnout is a thing; especially when watching/playing a bunch of heavy content. Braveheart, BoB, Die Hard, Inglorious Bastards, AND two shooter games? That is enough for two weeks!

Jay SMARTASS

I hope you consider giving the fat electrician a reaction. I think you'll really like his channel. His episode on the unstopaple 77th infantry division or the real wardaddy Layfayette Green Poole whould be right up your alley since you have seen the movies Fury & Hacksaw Ridge..🫶

Paul G

I'm going to assume you're already seen some or all of the Indiana Jones movies but if not I would love to see your reaction!

Alex Gorell

Inglorious Basterds is one of my favorite movies, and it’s my fav Tarantino movie. Can’t wait to watch it with ya.

Dan M

Love the upcoming schedule! As far as the reactor content goes, anyway. I wish I was into gaming so I could join up with you on your gaming channel. Just never really took to it. But that’s okay, you’ve got plenty of content on your reactor channel to keep me entertained until the new content is released. Like some of your other Patrons have alluded to, I hope you’re taking time for yourself to take care of YOU. You’re a mom, you’re a wife, you work, and you’re a reactor… your days have to be super busy. While I love what you’re doing as a reactor, I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say we are here because of YOU. So please take the time to unwind and enjoy some you time. A healthy, happy you = a happy Liteweight community.

Lee Aguera

Excellent quote. "That's enough for two weeks". That's a motto to live by.

Damn, Braveheart, Inglourious Basterds and Band of Brothers?? We are truly spoiled! Also, if you ever decide to start watching other tv shows, I cannot recommend enough "The Wire". It's an older show, only 5 seasons/60 episodes total, and it's one of the finest piece of television you could ever watch. Here's a little overview of the show, spoiler-free. https://youtu.be/tlYDCuJ-c8s?si=I8BPxSz0rjsWBDJ8

I just love the tension in every single chapter of the movie. The opening scene might be one of the best ones ever filmed.

If we're able to share some suggestions for content you might enjoy, I'd offer up the TV show Firefly! It's short (only 14 episodes and a movie to tie things up), but very good! It's technically sci-fi, but very earthy, and the exceptionally well-written characters really drive the show. A nice bonus is that many Firefly fans love watching someone new experience the show for the first time. There's a sizeable contingent of Browncoats (that's what Firefly fans call themselves!) who enjoy following reactions to the show. If you've never seen it before, I think it might be something you'd really find interesting!

Dan M

Same here Alex

Dan M

I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ve heard so many good things about that show. I was planning to begin watching it soon, but i’d be willing to wait if it’s going to be featured on this channel.

Barry D

YES been looking forward to San Andreas

Baldemort

The only thing that I cant take my eyes off of is that sexy skyrim map desk pad. I need that. Where can I get it?

Robert da Spruce

Busy, busy, busy! 😊 Looks like some awesome reactions coming! Getting pumped!

Doug Watson

I wish more people would do this.

Sam Blades

Looking forward to them all! A film I would recommend to watch is blood diamond such a powerful and gripping movie

Love the journal!

Your comments mean a lot Dan! This week in particular in crazy just due to catching up from vacation. Usually it’s a fairly manageable schedule and I really really enjoy all of what I do so sometimes it doesn’t feel so much like “work”! Lucky to have a great community behind me 😊

LiteWeight Gaming / Reacting

Blood Diamond is definitely on the list Sam! December is booked out! (getting ready to share that soon) 😊 But definitely can look into that starting in January!

MoonageDaydream

Braveheart, San Andreas and Inglorious Basterds? You’re spoiling us 😭

So this was one of my Dads favorite shows so I’ve seen bits and pieces but never the full thing! It was on in the room but I never really paid attention to it too much other then Inara! Not sure if that ruins the experience for first time viewers or not! Let me know what you think!

LiteWeight Gaming / Reacting

I’ve gotten so many recommendations for this channel and thank you for mentioning again Jay! Trying to figure out how to best operationalize it. They may be patron exclusive vids first as I want to add more benefits only for you guys!

Jay SMARTASS

I know Nick (the fat electrician) only asks for reactors to pin the original video & to give an honest reaction to them so there shouldn't be any conflict from his end that i know of..👍

Barry D

The Lazlow radio talk show is pretty funny

Greg

Do you ever sleep? :)

Dan M

I get it. Going on vacation is so necessary to recalibrate the brain and decompress. But it always seems like you’re right back in the grind almost immediately when you get back. I’ve learned to follow the advice from one of my favorite Jimmy Buffet songs, “Breathe in, breathe out, move on”.

Dan M

The Rock!

Dan M

There is so much great content coming our way.

Tim C

I don't think it would lessen the experience at all! Honestly, with social media and meme culture, it's nearly impossible to go into a beloved show 100% blind. We all soak up some knowledge of any popular property just by ambient exposure. I think once you start watching, the bits and pieces you already know will just drive your curiosity more!

Paul G

Oh goodness, well in that case let me say the original trilogy is a must watch, especially for a gamer like yourself. Indy is basically an adventure video game on film. The fifth and most recent film isn't perfect but it's still solid (ignore the incel haters who don't like that it has a strong female character). I'm not going to lie, the fourth film is a bit iffy but, in my opinion, Indy films are like chocolate, even the not so great ones are still sweet! Plus, the fourth film has a direct impact on the fifth so, it's kind of necessary to get the full picture.

TeeZee22

Still planning things old school with pen and paper! I'm one of the few still clinging to that, and I get a lot of grief for it! My hand writing is not as good as yours, though.

LiteWeight Gaming / Reacting

It’s funny cus I almost didn’t post this because I felt like my handwriting was bad! 🤣 I will never give up on the written calendar and goal journal! Something just feels so right about physically writing out my schedule and goals!

celilmandir

It's a slower paced show, not the typical cop show where there's the villain of the week that the good guys catch after a day or two of work. The Wire is primarily focused on Baltimore as a whole, you could almost say that the city is the main character of the show, and then you have everything that gravitates around it. The drug dealers, the cops, and then later on a struggling dock workers union, the political side of the city's leaders, the education side with the kids juggling between the tame world of school and the ruthless world of drugs they all are sadly too familiar with.. It's the kind of show where you have to give it 100% of your attention, it's not gonna be flashy or explody, the cops don't get involved in big gun fights or fast car chases. But if you give it your whole attention, the payoff is immensely worth it. And from what your reactions I've watched so far, you definitely seem the kind of person who would enjoy that kind of show, with how you are able to often notice the little things, piece together the little hints and pick up the subtle nuances of what the movies were offering you. Not to mention the many dilemmas put in front of you, and the questioning that this show brings you to do, trying to decide whether the "bad guys" are doing bad things for the right reason, or the "good guys" are doing bad things for the right reason.. or the bad reason.. or whatever motivates them to do what they're doing.. Truly, it's one of the best written shows you could ever watch, I cannot stress this enough. I really hope it finds a little home on your channel eventually!

TeeZee22

No, your handwriting is good! Anyone should be able to easily read it. When I get on a roll writing in cursive, it can be like heiroglyphics that few could read. Someone could get my notebooks and still not be able to steal my ideas!

Doug Watson

Letting us know what you have planned

Skywhale

I think it'd be beneficial to try to get back to hand-to-paper anything really. Just got me a bunch of nice pens :3

William Aultman

Another great reaction. Can't get enough! I was stationed in England (RAF Bentwaters, East Anglia, Suffolk County), from 1988-1991, and had the opportunity to travel to 11 different countries in Europe. The most convenient, and favorite was, without a doubt, Scotland. I think I went there 5 or 6 time in the 3 years I was in England. I loved, loved, loved, it, Loved Edinburgh, but the highlands were the best! It really is a must see!
