You;re correct on the story chunks/arcs. Do you mind if I DM/email you a list of the arcs? I have them all laid out in a non-spoilery fashion you can have as a PDF :) It matches the starwars.com watch order.

Eric Wallace

I know, but its just letting the masses decide to treat you like you lack of media literacy. These are the same people who would've had you watch Andor before Rogue One. Andor is meant to be watched knowing what happens in rouge one. I'm still gonna a watch. Just disappointed

Stephen Clarke

I didn't care what way you watched them I'm just happy you're watching them! 😁😁

Mr Bunny

The animation improves quite a lot through the seasons. It's the same style and models throughout the series though but movement, lighting and effects get better and better, and the final season looks absolutely amazing. You'll probably also notice a gradual shift in the storytelling and dialogue, where the first couple of seasons seem more made for kids, and and then starts gradually shifting more towards the general star wars audience from like late season 2.

I’m sorry! But I put a poll up for it. If I went against the results of the poll, no one would trust my polls anymore 🤣 A poll feels like the most “fair” way to go about it in cases like this.

Don’t be sorry. It’s your channel after all. You should always do it the way you want. everyone is different and that’s ok. If we were all the same, life would be incredibly boring.

Joshua Gideon

I will let you know mild spoilers this series will effect how you see order 66 in episode 3

Re: Your question about story arcs...Yes, the entire series is basically in story arcs, and yes you're better off posting them as full story arcs (they're mostly 2 or 3 episodes per arc). ...and yes, I have mentioned this MULTIPLE times in chat comments and in DMs...🤣🤣🤣

Eric Wallace

You won this one. Congratulations mr ziro.

Cyber legacy

This reaction was amazing and i can't wait for the next one

Yay, lets go! Despite what others say Teegan, this is the best way to watch the show. Chronologically will fit a lot better than doing it in release - honestly. Anyway the people have voted, we are a democracy - well until the Empire shows up!! ;) George Lucas envisioned a show telling the story of the war, right after making Revenge of the Sith. He brought in Dave Filoni to showrun Clone Wars and be Supervising Director; and build up the animation department. Filoni now is Lucasfilm President, in the last year, so he will be deciding what projects get greenlit from now on, and he has been in charge of all the animations that I hope you'll end up watching, as they are so good and great fun. He also developed The Mandalorian with Jon Favreau and his own live show, but more on that much later. Its funny you mention Avatar : Last Airbender, as Filoni worked on that show until he got hired here! Season 1 (or 2 in this case where the lighting is improved) gets slated a bit for the quality of its animation these days, but I actually think its really impressive tbh, all the assets and the scale of the battles; and that it looks pretty good to this day - when in 2008, there was nothing of this standard on domestic tv, and this had the highest budget as Lucas didn't care about money - why would he, he's a billionaire! To build it all from scratch in three years, is "very impressive" (fitting who we will be following this ep)! One or two episodes later look a bit dodgy, but that aside, they improve on it season by season, just like the show itself, such that, when its at its best, its as good Star Wars, as you'll ever see! Its still a kids show - which is what Star Wars should always be; but that doesn't lessen how great it is. I agree with the two episodes at a time when you can; the other reactors I subbed to for the animations, tend to do 2 at a time also, and this is the longest of them. The story arcs are less important just now, just settle into the show first, then we can get more into that later. Anyway have fun with it Teegan! Firstly, its great hearing the Clone Wars theme again, take on Williams main Star Wars Theme; it brings it all back! Then immediately I have to regret saying RIP Tom Kane, the narrator, and guy who voices Admiral Yularen (who you have met!) and Yoda amongst others. He died recently and this is the first time I have heard his voice since then. The biggest change for the characters, is Anakin himself; he's much less of a dweeb than he is in the films, he has just married Padme and made a man of himself, and we are only a few battles into the war. Lucas wanted to make him hero Anakin, the version spoken about, in A New Hope from Obi-Wan; and Matt Lanter plays him so. He still has all the traits in the main of the movies, and Matt's version is beloved across the fanbase, even if a bit jarring in comparison to Hayden. Obi-Wan is so charismatic and dry in this series, and is an absolute legend. If you loved him in the films, you are going to have a lot of fun with him in this show! This is just an introductory episode, following The Battle of Christophsis, where we will be for a number of episodes (and parts of the film); showing Anakin's preternatural ability in battle against a foe that looks like a spider!! Can't wait to see what you make of the clones themselves as we get more into the show! I don't think we have seen a cloaked ship in the movies, one of the imps mentions that the Falcon is too small for a cloaking device - which is brought back when Anakin mentions it here, so that's as far as I'm aware; though I'm just up and my brain isn't firing on all cylinders yet! On the music, Kevin Kiner was brought in to do the scoring. He has since become a lot of people's idea of the successor to John Williams. Its starts off pretty generic just now while he finds his feet; but once he does, he almost reaches peak Williams. He does all the animations to this day, and also scored in a live action show (and that score is fabulous!), that I'm sure you'll get around to one day, once the animations are done! Plenty of Star Wars to go before then though, so sit down and enjoy the ride! May the force be with us, as we start this venture, woo-hoo!!!

Mate, it really is not that deep. The majority of the run is in release order anyway, the bits that aren’t are all in the early seasons when it was still by and large just a kid’s show with little to no connective tissue between the individual arcs. Not until later do the stories get deeper, more mature and complex and connected, by which point the order stops jumping around. It’s not a big deal.

Sigma957

Been really looking forward to this. For what it's worth, I didn't really mind one way or the other which watch order you decided to follow, though I did vote for chronological in the poll. There are so few mixed up episodes that it really isn't worth making a fuss. Some of the moaners in this comments section are going waaay over the top. A poll really was the fairest way to decide. This series just gets better and better... I think you'll be surprised by just how much. You'll never look at the prequel trilogy the same way again by the time you've finished it, that's for sure. Sorry - this is already far too long...

Clay F

As someone who has never watched Clone Wars, I researched release vs chronological the best I could and decided I wanted release order, so I voted release order in the poll. However, when I scrutinized closely the episode lists for release vs chronological, I realized there is not that big of a difference.

Thomas Manning

Is this what it's going to be like for every episode. You gotta get over it. It isn't that deep.

Justice Hornsby

The bad guy is monsters inc was Mr waternoose

Jerick E

Oh I already know Teeg is gonna fall in love with thhe clones, because they're more than just numbers. Not only that, but the progression of the animation as we get to later seasons. Thank you as always for posting your reactions!

Lukas

@ Ericw, treated her like she lacked media literacy? What? BS. Those "same people" absolutely would not have had her watch Andor before Rogue One and NO ONE was saying that. People just chose what they prefer in her poll on the CLone Wars. You've got a screw loose bro. Acting like it's the end of the world.. I'm actually even happier knowing that you're so disappointed about this because this whole time you've come across as a petulant child.

Clay F

First watch for me. That was interesting. I like your exuberance. I will wait till I watch few episodes before I draw an initial conclusion.

FantasyHawkeye

Just wanted to say welcome to The Clone Wars! I remember watching this series on Cartoon Network! Once Disney got the rights the show ended and then came back for the final season which was done only on Disney Plus.

John A

I have not seen it in chronological order. so looking forward to it. Good first start reaction.

Kevin (GiantFutures.com)

I’m already counting down to the final four episodes…. Quite possibly the best single Star Wars movie of any kind. It’s at least in the discussion.

Isaac Noël

We stan our oshi doing what she wants!

Wakandan King D

You're watching in the right order you'd be confused otherwise, super excited!
