Going to have to miss this one. Its the only arc in Clone Wars, I can never rewatch, as I can never watch animals get used and manipulated, for our own greed; and it upsets me. I've never been able to watch King Kong for example either. I know that its fantasy fiction, but I can never separate watching the episodes, without feeling that way.

It's pretty damn awful that they killed that animal. The question immediately comes to mind for me that always does when the Chancellor is in trouble and among others. How close to death does he allow himself to get before he takes drastic... pulling out his light saber or making obvious use of the Force. If Mas Amedda, one of the very few people who knows what Palpatine is, is willing to second guess the Chancellor, he should damn well lsiten. Thousands must have died for this colossal fuck up. They should should have stood On Free Ta up to the damn monster... the only creature on Coruscant with a comparable appetite.

Anakin isn’t in the wrong tbh, from his point of view Chancellor wants to save clones from death in war at the expense of one beast which is understandable albeit unfortunate. Of course he doesn’t know yet that’s all BS. Also wouldn’t be fair to say he choose Chancellor, he gave a diplomatic answer where he felt both would understand then told Padme he’s on her side
