Star Wars Godzilla?!?

Ziro the Hutt

Yep, Lucas wanted to include stories, influences and tributes, from his own film journey when he was a kid, throughout season 2. For example Seven Samurai/Magnificent Seven in the Bounty Hunters episode; and here with a Godzilla type story. Commander Cody here, is named after Commando Cody from a short-lived serial from the 50's; and Cody even dons a jetpack as tribute to that character.

Michael Daw

Didn't know about Cody. That's cool.

Anakin riding R2D2 out of the hole is one of the greatest!

The behind the scenes stuff of dave filoni reacting to being told they were doing a godzilla arc is great
