I love learning more about the clones and how not all of them were happy with the life they were forced to lead!

Sshhh don't mention Control Resonant, I'm trying to stay spoiler free there! Control was one of my favourite games of the last few years and I've still not played Alan Wake II yet, with Control Resonant being after. However I'm replaying Cyberpunk 2077 so it will be a while yet lol!! ;) Haha I was just thinking when you mentioned it about how Grievous got his cape! Does he have a cute little pocket on his body someplace for it? Or does he store one in every escape pod just in case! Ahh!! First appearance of Jesse, Kix and Hardcase! Hardcase especially I love. Jesse is a pretty well known clone too throughout the series, so worth taking a note of Teegan. Yes I know, that line from Rex about living under an evil... It a sore one. I love how they use Rex here as a contrast to Cut. Rex is pretty much the paragon of clones, and many peoples (including mine) favourite clone - and of course Rex means "king", kind of confirming how he is pretty much the best of the best, as a soldier; but also an honourable man who thinks he is doing right by engaging in the war, and fighting for his brothers. The kids aren't Cut's. The timeline doesn't work out correctly, plus all clones are sterile. Its great seeing both points of views on this, about the worthlessness Cut felt about it all, feeling his life had no meaning - that he was "expendable". And so he went about making a good quiet life for himself being a husband and raising these kids as his own. Whilst its not trying to save the galaxy, like Rex and the other clones think they are doing; its no less important. One of the kids is voiced by the same VA who does Asajj Ventress, which I can never get over when I replay this episode! A great little episode this for opening Rex's eyes and to dwell on things outside of soldiery and honour. A good few episodes to come as well next. Season 2, whilst not peak Clone Wars, is still pretty great.

A lot of the people watching along with Ms. Teegan have a long-standing admiration for the Clones, as a general character. It's easy to forget that we, too, developed that feeling over the course of many episodes and a long time. As many of you know, there's much, much more to come, but this episode is a seminal contribution to our amalgamated sense of who the Clones were and what they experienced. Some great new characters introduced, and a compelling investigation into their condition. My favorite part, though, is the sequence at 19:00 where Kenobi runs through the battlefield and launches himself at Grevious. He is ALL IN, in that moment. Love that "accelerating lightsaber" sound effect! One more thing: Kix's head tattoo reads "A good droid is a dead one"! My man 🤣
