Pretty smooth noticing those younglings at the end, and then recognizing master Sinube in the previous episode before we actually meet him 🫡. Sinube is fantastic. Like you said: excellent lightsaber technique. Even in that little fight at the end, his style evokes his serene sensibility. Someone like Anakin would have just started hacking away at her, chopping up limbs and who knows what. But Sinube allows her to swing the saber several times while he waits for the perfect opportunity to disarm her AND flip the saber over to Ashoka, ensuring no real harm will come to anyone. Now THAT'S a Jedi! Great episode for Ashoka. I love Coruscant episodes. The Senate, the Underworld, all that stuff.

So this is how normal teegan looks for a recording lol

The Part with the Billboard of Palpatine is really cool world building. Just showcasing how he subtly makes the Galaxy believe the Jedi are taking advantage of the War to cement their power and make them already disliked by the general public by the time Order 66 happens and he frames them as traitors.

Another lovely little episode this for kids to learn about overcoming adversity in their lives, if they believe in themselves, and trust in their capabilities. Anakin is one to talk about not losing lightsabres, when he was doing it all the time as a Padawan! Ahsoka doesn't want to feel she's letting him down though, hence her reticence in admitting her weapon is missing. Again, I like that they show Ahsoka learning lessons from other Jedi aside from Anakin and Obi-Wan. We've seen her with Luminara, Aayla Secura and now Tera Sinube; all with their own ways of showing what it is to be a Jedi. Tera is ancient. He would have been a Jedi Master at the time of the High Republic, and only around 5 or 6 Jedi from those times, remain. His constant lesson about slowing down, thinking in the moment, is perfect for Ahsoka, who we know can be a bit headstrong and rash like her master. Sinube is a great example of what Jedi was like when they were at their height, and he's great. Unfortunately you have also seen Tera Sinube elsewhere Teegan. Kenobi series, during the ropey episode 4 on Fortress Inquisitorious; where he is dead inside a vat, as a trophy. So his fate, like so many coming, won't be a good one. Still lets not try and dwell on that too much at this time; I would have loved a series with him, he should have been in Young Jedi Adventures imo; though we'll also see him again here in the animations. No, Tera doesn't have a white lightsabre, its just very lightly blue. You're emotional as those kids will probably be trophies of Ahsoka's master in a couple of years! :P On Ahsoka you are correct Teegan; she was brought into the show from Lucas and Filoni, as a way for kids to learn what its like to be a Jedi - the good and the very bad - at this time; so kids watching kind of grew up with her, and they use that throughout the show. She becomes one of the best developed characters in Star Wars; just wait and see. You have a lot to look forward to with her. There is five years difference between Ahsoka and Anakin. She is 14/15, he at this time is 19/20, as we start to move into the second year of the war. He is the same age as Grogu btw.

Ziro the Hutt

Yeah its a nice bit of detail that. He's saying the war is no the fault of the Jedi for those becoming frustrated by it; yet at the same time, by including the Jedi in that statement, he is fanning the flames for anti-Jedi sentiment down the line, so that they will become isolated as things kick off.

Did Teegan watch the last episode in season 1, because the recap in the begining of this episode was from that one

Ziro the Hutt

It looks like it. Though these are scenes she hasn't seen yet, there is nothing much in there giving the story away; so its all good.

I was wondering this too, so I checked it out. I believe Teegan is using the list on StarWars.com. According to that list, "Hostage Crisis" is #51 in chronological order; "Lightsaber Lost" is #38. It's amazing how many scripts they must have had before even starting...

Trent

This is going to make you sad but I'm pretty sure you see Sinube in the Obi-Wan show, Episode 4.

Eric Wallace

Also, it doesnt feel late because we dont have a schedule or calendar to know.

Eric Wallace

You've seen Sinube before. In Obi-wan, hes one of the dead jedi preserved in the 4th episode
