The "Two Storms" episode is a great example of why I think this show is the best limited series show ever. This episode is stunning, both emotionally and from a technical filmmaking perspective.

Steve is unlikely to ever tell anyone about seeing Nell (or their mother) because he's still chalking up these "visions" to inherited mental illness. I didn't notice you commenting on the extended single tracking shot for the entire opening sequence—I wasn't sure you'd noticed—but maybe you're alluding to that with your comment that "some of the shots...were AMAZING!!!!" That *was* amazing.

Did I say out loud “you could watch one more episode” like you could hear me? Yes. Yes, I did.

This is one of my favorite episodes of any series ever. It was like I was watching a play. The long takes, the camera work, the choreography…it was truly special. The moment Hugh comes in and the camera pans around to the young actors and when it comes around again it’s the adult actors will never not resonate with me. There is a behind-the-scenes video about the making of this episode that you might find interesting. I think you can find it on YouTube.

The whole first 20 minutes of this episode was one take. They intentionally connected the funeral home and Hill House sets just for this episode. It's a brilliant shot, especially the part when the dad first comes in and sees the young versions of the kids and the shot seamlessly switches to the adult kids without a single cut. I can't imagine how difficult that was to shoot. I wonder if there's a BTS video going over what was happening off screen throughout the whole scene.

I've been waiting for the Two Storms reaction! Great job! Calling young Nell in the casket early and spotting Bent Neck Nell in the back.. most people dont see her until the lightning strike shows her there. Also nice catch the the Statues moving 👌 I can't wait for the next one!

Great reaction. Great episode. Great series.
