Hey everybody,

I hope this post finds you well. I'm doing fine, just wishing the rain would go away long enough for things to dry out so that I can do my yard-work. Life pretty much has a rhythm and I keep trodding along to the beat. Not sure if I mentioned it yet, but I have taken down the aquarium. My 3 fish were really old, and one by one they came to the end of their life. After years and years of having the Aquarium and maintaining it, I will be getting rid of it. I've actually been ready to get rid of it for a long time but always said that I wouldn't until the last fish has passed.Over the weekend, I spent a couple of hours watching my oldest grand-daughter delight in my mom's dollhouse. She enjoyed taking the furniture from the storage box and arranging the pieces in the house. She had never seen it before and was fascinated by it. It's one of those large wooden doll houses that has many rooms and a shingled roof...even has been wired for lights. Because of age, it's in rough condition, but my goal is to restore it and pass it along as an heirloom. Will makes some videos when I finally get going on it.

So much to do, so little time. I was in the mood recently, to finally open up a couple of little cars I had purchased some time back, and prepare them to enter the display case. I recorded the event and hope you find it relaxing.

Thank you all for your patronage. It's never been taken for granted.

Automotive ASMR Sleep Video

Relax and drift off to sleep as I add a couple of new 1/64th scale die cast cars to my collection. My videos are best enjoyed using headphones or earbuds. This is video number 573 of this channel. The videos on my YouTube channel portray some of the typical day-to-day activities that I do for relaxation. This video was produced with relaxation in mind and hopefully has some ASMR qualities. Too much stress is harmful to your well-being and in today’s fast-paced world, stress management is more important than ever, and so I hope this ASMR video acts as a stress reliever for those watching and a sleep-aid for anyone having a difficult time falling asleep. If you enjoy my videos and feel like you get something of value from them, you might consider becoming an official “patron” of my channel over at my Patreon page. The baby GTO does it for me, as I'm a Pontiac guy. Pretty sure you could get them with a 350 HO as well. They weren't "true" GTO's as they rode on that Ventura unibody platform but they were small and light and handled quite well. As a side note, bringing up the 73 GTO: one of the magazines - I believe it was MotorTrend - named the 1973 GTO SD 455 "Car of The Year" but in fact the 455SD never made it into the new GTO (or the Grand Am) for 73 due do them having to re-certify that engine for the new chassis. Only the 73-74 Firebird Formulas/Trans Ams got them in a detuned form with the 744 cam. So that was rather funny, Martin Caserio (Pontiac GM at the time) accepted MotorTrend's award for a car they wound up never producing! Cougar Eliminator is nice, but for my money has nothing on the 70-71 Cyclone Spoiler 429SCJ's of that era. Torino's had a nicer grille and spoiler but those big Mercs were beautiful from any other angle.
