Hey everybody,

I hope this post finds you well. For a while I was getting request to do another crossword puzzle and was in the mood to work one recently, so here it is. Perhaps the easiest puzzle to date. I think the only word I did not know may have been the one that the hint was Hula Hoop. It filled itself in during the course of the puzzle and even then I did not get the reference. (still have not looked it up either).

I've been experimenting with AI a little bit lately. Most of you know that I dabble in writing short stories and poems and have always wished I could draw and paint well enough to add illustrations to my work. Well, I've figured out how to use AI for that and the possibilities seem endless. I have mixed feelings about AI actually, like perhaps many of you do. Anything useful will be abused and I fear we are now living in a world where we are not sure what is real and what's not, and it's only going to get harder to tell as time goes on. Lately, I'm seeing a lot of videos showing talking babies, or cute little animals thoughtfully interacting with each other. Even ran across a bigfoot that makes vlogs. As creative and mesmerizing these videos are, in the end, they leave me cold. What is this doing to us? How will this shape the younger, and future generations? Why am I even typing this? I guess because it's been on my mind. Maybe I'm over thinking it, but AI has people glued to their screens more than ever and I'm afraid that something that is already a huge problem is going to become much worse. Now that I've said that, how do you feel about me voicing concerns likes these in a post like this?

It's been really hot outside. Just finished working on my old Honda Accord. Trying to track down what is known as a parasitic draw on the battery. That's when something on the car is consuming too much of the battery when the car is not running. I think it's fine now, time will tell the next time I turn the key and nothing happens. Happy to be done with it, at least for now.

Now that the work is out of the way, Time to take the bicycle to the woods for a little exercise. Hoping the shade makes the ride bearable.
