I've made it to the end and I just wanted to say that I literally don't feel relief. I feel sick. This story ending has not made me okay. I wish that I had watched this on YouTube just so that I could have had brief moments of relief from ad breaks. If you guys were anyone else besides amazing people and artist, I would have probably unsubscribed and then jumped off the local bridge to end this suffering. I'm at a loss for words... I think I need to become a Buddhist or something to even begin to cope with this. I would have rather stared at a blank paper for 24 hours than be exposed to happy fucking appy. Guys, torturing the fellas with bad stories is funny to an extent, but I've been dying for a long episode lately, we finally get one and it's the worst fucking story humanly possible. It's not even bad in a memorable way. I can't help but think if every episode is a miserable read, they'll end up giving no more than the minimum required effort, which will suck for everybody. Also, it's so much more fulfilling when the guys enjoy the story as much as we do. We get Isaiah theorizing, and breaking down the meaning, Hunter puts his best foot forward in the voices, all the things that make this show so great. Instead, Isaiah stepped away from his newborn for 5 hours to read this forgettable piece of shit. I'm giving up on this one just shy of two hours in, and I'm genuinely going to pray that they stop reading stories recommended by the viewers.

I would disagree that this is a fart joke stretched to a 90 minute stand up special.... that implies that youre hitting 90 minutes of potentially well executed fart jokes that the audience is just getting stale and bored from hearing variations on. No, this does not rise to that level. As Hunter said a few times, Happy Appty basically fails on every level to create any semblance of a story. It has no characters, it has basically no arc, its not even really a story, its literally just the unedited ramblings of a pre-teen. This isnt a 90 minute special about fart jokes. This is watching a comedian come on stage and fumble around with his idea book on potential jokes while they fails to finish a single one in full.

Very Mother Horse Eyes, where many different characters encounter the same central entity in different flavors. It reads very much like internet horror, and it would be a new vibe to have Eastern horror explored!!

There's a lot of segments of kids acting like field reporters where they say some out of pocket crass shit to bystanders in interviews. To be fair, I don’t know if they ever had a story they planned on reading that was known for being really long and REALLY bad. In hindsight, Isaiah probs was thinking the bits will be funny with hunter crashing out. But whenever that happened in the past, the stories always had some sort of hook and fell off down the line. This story IMMEDIATELY died after the second post, and then proceeded a four hour slog. Sorry to say but I've watched this episode several times now... the emotional journey and true testament to friendship on display here is just heartwrenching, when Hunter takes over for Isaiah and is so locked in for such a long time, incredible. The real reason for this comment, though, the way Isaiah says "I played Jar of Hate" feels so perfectly isolated, I think of it as Wendi playing Yu-Gi-Oh suddenly and I just wanted to say that no matter how many times I've listened to this one, when it hits that line, "I played Jar of Hate" it just hits me in such a way that it always gets my attention.
