Greetings,

last week I continued rendering and scripting work as usually. I made progress on the bigger scene but it's still not finished yet.

Maybe a few words to the scene. As I said I want to keep tension in the story and so there will be conflicts, perhaps even physically as can be seen above. I'm also trying a bit darker color-grade than I usually use to try go give the scene more weight, I'm just not certain if that might be too dark for common displays.

Next week I'll hopefully finish the current big scene and start with the next.

Its does seem pretty dark. I can imagine it could be difficult for some to make out all the details in scenes like these.🤔

Tension is good, if the story warrants it. Please don't add it just for the sake of adding it, much like those who say "the story didn't have weight because no one died" which is always a stupid mentality.

I don't want to pull an G.R.R. Martin and kill everyone. When I transition from the more fun/humorous first episode to a more serious tone I was considering to go even darker but scratched that pretty quickly. It shouldn't be too tragic as it should still be a pleasant, adult, erotic story. However, just having a wank-fest isn't enough for me. I had a story in my mind from the very beginning and I stick to it. Without a bit of tension and drama it would be a bit boring and I don't want to be just 'another wank-fest'. So, it won't get too dark... I think... at least I wouldn't consider it too dark.

Yeah, having looked at it on another monitor I lifted the shadows a bit. There are still dark areas but there should be a bit more details now. However, I don't want the grey washed-out look many AAA games have today, so this scene will stell be pretty dark with contrast. But yeah, I lifted the shadows a bit.

As long as the events and actions make sense in the overall story that will be fine. You do your story, I just have seen too many emotionally stunted authors, or people who lack empathy try to throw in major 'twists' just for shock value and to me it just cheapens a story when they do it. Glad to hear you have it all thought out, looking forward to seeing where things go from here. The first part of the story was great.
