Hello everybody, hope you all are doing well!

And wow guys, I kinda messed up... Or maybe not even "kinda".

To give you some context before I explain the issue that I found: after I render all my videos, the ones that will be posted to Patreon go through another program called Handbrake, that compresses the video to make the file size smaller, and therefore easier to watch and download for people with slower internet speeds. I've been doing it this way for around 2 years at this point. And here comes the part where I messed up. During the course of these 2 years I never managed to PROPERLY check the sound quality of the videos. Especially the live stages. I would occasionally click on the links to make sure that the video is the correct one and that it works, and after hearing the first few seconds (where there's just my voice and no music), I would turn it off. But today I needed to check something in the middle of the video, so I clicked there and listened to a few seconds of the music and oh boy... I found out that the sound quality of the videos, especially when there's music present, is worse than the quality that my videos have before going through Handbrake, and therefore than the quality that I hear when I react to said music. If you've never noticed any issues with the sound quality and have no idea what I'm talking about, I'll be relieved haha. After all, I've never seen any comments saying that my videos sound bad and I should fix my sound quality, which gives me hope that it wasn't bothering you that much.

Still, I want to apologize, because it was totally on me to make sure that all parts of the video sound nice, not only the first few seconds. And I didn't manage to do it in the whole 2 years. On a positive note though, from now on all my videos will sound better, and if you were ever bothered by the current sound quality or it made you unsubscribe in the past - now the issue should be fixed and the videos will sound crystal clear (as much as it's possible with the built-in G-Drive and Dropbox compression, for best sound possible I would still recommend downloading the vids). This issue has not affected YT videos though, because for those files I don't use Handbrake, so that's another good news

In any case, thank you for reading and understanding, I really hope the sound didn't bother you that much. Take care everybody!

Thank you for explaining this to us! I know the sound quality is worse than the original video but I thought that's natural after all the compression, so it doesn't bother me. Excited for better sound quality videos moving forward :)
