I think it's clear by this point that Kars sees humans as ants, or parasites, since he's shown explicitly animal lives are worth more in his eyes. My guess is that because of the human Hamon tribe that once had the 'arrogance' to defy the Pillarmen, he despises humans and their primitive intelligence.

Seeing the comparison between Kars and Dio is fascinating. While Dio had no remorse for any life besides him, Kars is willing to put aside is superiority to save a pup.

i always liked the touch that Esidisi is thwarted by negative and positive hamon, almost like electrical currents. kind of relating to his namesake of the band AC/DC which itself is in reference to electricity. I have no idea if it's intentional but it's funny.
