The Frog King

Yes the announcer is the same VA as avdol. Also famously known for My Hero Academia's All Might.

Victor

Owen Harper

I'm most looking forward to Diego (Dio) being animated

Caroline Medhurst Jackson

I have been waiting for part 7 since part 6 ended i can't wait to watch it when it comes out in stead of rewashing all the episodes with the good fights in lol

Jeremy Brooks

I think the Diego design looks really good

Popping

The character I most wanna see is the lord.

Otaku Steph

The steel ball is sort of a confusing aspect, if you noticed they seemed to put the same vfx and sfx as hamon :) (it is a separate power, just to give you an idea of what it might be!!) I sped through the part 7 manga when i was reading, i think i finished it in like under a week(?) so theres two characters i really wanna see (Of which i will not be saying names, so that way you can have the best experience possible) Excited to see: the visitor from another world Dreading to see: The President

Dezmond

Steel Ball Run is great but please don’t feel the need to speedrun parts 4-6. They’re still just as good and worth your attention. (I know you were probably joking lol but still)

Wonder Of You

as a manga reader from this trailer I can't wait to see Diego Brando he's super cool and he can be a dick head at points

Eeko

We've also got Aki's seiyuu from Chainsaw Man voicing Johnny Joestar

Oscar Wright

You are correct about Avdol's VA. He plays Steven Steel, the organizer of the race.

persika

oh, steph, i wish you could know just how exciting this is!! this animation is something people have been looking forward to for longer than i’ve been alive😭 it is a fantastic part in every single aspect, but the character development and story telling has been what has always stood out to me specifically. i really do think that you will thoroughly enjoy johnny as the part’s joestar… he and part 6’s are tied for my favorite! either way, it’s super fun to see the zeppelis and the brandos back, along with some other characters ;) i’m glad you enjoyed the trailer, and i’m excited to see the representation that you mentioned also!🩵

gagarin

for me it's the goat Diego Brando I want to see most

PsychoHelmet

As a manga reader I'm excited to see Johnny the most, he's my 2nd favorite JoJo behind the Part 5 one, and he's definitely the best written imo. And Im also excited to see the main villain, he has my favorite Stand in the series even as of Part 9.

Brie&Apples

The one character that I am waiting for them to animate is a spoiler so all I will say is once they animate him it he will break the internet and I can't wait to see it.

Splykert

You should definitely be excited for this part. It’s considered one of, if not the best part by most people (my fav part along side part 5)

Nattan Bouffard

As a manga reader (part 7 and 4 are my favorite), I absolutely adore each and every antagonist of this part. Part 7 is often described as Araki's magnum opus and the concepts, the stands, the story and the characters are JoJo at its finest. I am so excited!!

ArFanik

Sandman is so badass man, I can't wait to see him animated

astralman

As a manga reader, I love all of these characters, and some that haven't been shown in the trailer. The story left a big impact on me. Some of your reaction confused me, but I don't know if it's worth getting into. Quick facts to help out: Jonathan Joestar died in 1889, so Steel Ball Run wouldn't be before Part One even if they were in the same continuity, which they aren't. Since this is a new continuity, I would advise against assuming too much about the characters based on past experience. For example, Diego is a different character from Dio. $50 million is explained in the manga's author's notes as what it would be in "today's money" (2004, when this manga's first chapter came out) just to give the average reader an idea of how big a deal it is. Even before you get to this, there's plenty to get into with parts 4-6 that are brilliant themselves and that will prepare you for what's to come, so I hope you don't rush through them in a way that cause you to miss important details and lessen your enjoyment of them.
