Mikitaka's story of "Is he an alien or not?" is never answered and that's kind of the point of the arc lol. His Stand is never even named in the manga, that "Earth Wind and Fire" is later given on a JoJo Artbook, but even with the Stand name, the alien question is never answered. I like how even in his Stand Card the "Stand Name" and "Stand Master" have ??? on them lol to further prove the point. Part 4 is more open to having other bizarre stuff outside of Stands.

So interestingly enough, mikitaka is neither alien nor stand user, araki never said. I like that its left up to interpretation though :)

For real, I always find it REALLY weird for Hayato to have a camera installed in the parents bedroom, what kind of sick kid would do that to spy or their parents?? At least it's convenient against Yoshikage? I really cant find more to that kid ToT Anyway appart from that, you saw more of the dynamic between Josuke and Rohan, that's really cool to see the love-hate relationship between the two of them ahah, and if you want more of rohan after this, there is a spinoff of 4 episodes currently totally centered on Rohan (Thus spoke Kishibe Rohan, it's 4 stories non related directly to part 4)

Josuke: let's fckn scam rohan Ah, normally you forget that Joseph created this creature since Araki's writing make Josuke feels like its own thing rather than "the son of a main chrctr". But there's some episodes that you can pyshically feel the Joseph ahh vibes in him. So for morioh i'd say aliens are ok in my book!.

Yeah, the Kawajiri household was supposed to be a very depressing household. Kawajiri was supposed to be a pushover before Kira switched with him and just goes to his job, goes home tired, sleep and neglects his family, his wife is in a loveless marriage, and Hayato wonders if he's in a loving family.

BREAK DOWN BREAK DOWN! BREAK DOWN BREAK DOWN! This is my favorite op of all the series… period. I think chase is the best song. But this op gets me SO HYPE. Goodness… I am so ready for this half of the part. As I’ve stated… ever since part 1… I couldn’t wait for these episodes. Sure, there are more parts to watch with bigger endings but this... This what I have waited for ever since July. Sad it only happens once. Happy that it’s now. Thank you Steph, I’m glad you enjoy Jojos and have built this amazing community. Also idk if people mention how great your content is, like sometimes I question why I would pay for memberships, but I am so happy with the content here. I def look forward to seeing “Jojos ep __” on my notifications wall.

I love mikitaka. I lean more towards him being an alien with a stand but there’s plenty of evidence for it being either one. We don’t know how much a stand arrow needs to pierce to grant a stand but he also could’ve had one already (or he’s an alien that can just do that!)

I believe the "To Be Continued" in the middle of the episode was just to represent the end of the gambling arc and signal the beginning of the next one (which is confusing because its the only instance of using to be continued in the middle of the episode) Something I love about the Great Days OP is that it represents every character (except maybe Josukes mom) either using the character themself or a symbol representing them if theyre a villain. Also, I'd like to think Mikitaka is actually an alien, but being in line with pretty much every cliche about aliens is more than just a coincidence 😓.

Hopefully he installed the camera after noticing weird things, otherwise there would be literally no reason 🫠 (but later dialogue makes it seem like its been there a while)

Mikitaka a certified alien yes yes, he is our body, but could have a stand but who knows I think it is that way to be left up to your own interpretation, digging the josuke and rohan dynamics lesgooo DAGA KOTOWARU. Highway Star really bring back them horror vibes as you mentioned yes and interesting to see the kosaku family hijinx as they continue and was cool to see Kobayashi again after his hospital time. Also at your own pace to release em next reactions, tis fun to watch during work from home. Have a great week and excited for the next episodes, crazy things are occuring ooop

The "To Be Continued" in the middle of episode actually mirrors that being in the middle of the manga chapter that ends the Mikitaka story and begins Highway Star.

It's pretty clear he's not doing it for getting off, isn't it? Not only is he so young, but he keeps his bored depressed tone that he had before. I think we're supposed connect from what his mother said that it's loveless marriage and, by extension, that Hayato doesn't feel loved by his parents. The entire house is like a void of emotion before Kira gets there. We know that Hayato isn't a bad kid, so it makes more sense to think of reasons why he did it, instead of thinking the worst. Considering the situation, being bored and depressed with the situation, he likely wants to confirm or deny that they're just as miserable as him. Though I've seen it suggested that maybe he was hoping to catch his father beating his mother, which is another good option. This is one aspect I wish was better communicated so there wouldn't be misunderstandings about it, but I appreciate the attempt at subtext here that was foreshadowed by the actual text.

That's not what I was implying too anyway, but yeah even if you might be right on what you suppose, we are still talking about a Kid spying on his parents, even if it was a camera installed in the living room/kitchen I would have been weirded out, the beatings allegations would be a really "good" answer to this and I hope that Hayato thought that he could save his mom by doing this, but seeing the monotonous and boring family, I think it would have been hard to assume that coming from him.

Now that we got to see all three of the OP's, a really nice detail that isn't pointed out is Crazy Diamond fixing the JoJo heart that was destroyed during Chase's OP by Killer Queen. The fact that details like that carry over to the next OP really goes to show how much care these OP's were made, David Productions was the best studio to adapt JoJo. EDIT: To play devil's advocate for Shinobu's delulu, she married a man she never truly loved, one that she found boring and lame, which is terrible on it's own, but imagine that man being suddenly confident and charming, cooking breakfast and doing daring things such as stealing from the landlord to pay for their rent, the whiplash would send you crazy in love.
