What I love about Josuke is how different he is as an MC - compared to Jotaro. He's less stoic, he has moments where his mind's racing and the panic gets to him, others where he figures out what he should do immediately. We were less often allowed to pierce into Jotaro's mind since he's written like the cold-blooded cowboy archetype, traumatic events are "just a drag" to him. Josuke really reminds me of Joseph, his dad, in a way. Araki is a master at his craft

LETS KILL DA HO! BEEEEETCH! It's pretty funny, because since Stands are just extensions of a user's spirit, I really think ACT 3 is foul mouthed simply because it's that side of Koichi that is tired of taking ppl's crap lmao, whereas he's normally a polite and good natured guy. Also I think the Speed in the Stand Card is based on their Attack Speed, whereas Highway Star's attack speed only goes up to B like Echoes Act 3, while Stands like Crazy D and Star Platinum is A that can punch in an instant.

As you said about Kira, he had weird relationship before, with his mother it seems conflictual to say the least, and the dad just acknowledged his killing insticts and even help him, so not a really good father figure too, he might be on a path to "redemption" if we can call it that with shinobu, and might have not return the smooch, but he call her panicked with her real name whenever she is injured even a little. He doesnt understand his own feelings towards other when it's too complicated for him and just brush it off

Highway Star is an automatic stand like Sheer Heart Attack, meaning that it doesn’t share damage it takes with the user and can act at really long distances from the user without sacrificing power. The drawback being that they can only follow simple commands and the user doesn’t know what the stand is doing at all times

The stray cat fight is what makes Kira such a compelling villian. That semblance of sympathy he shows makes him feel more human, making everything else he does all the more disturbing.

Yup, that's koichi for you! reliable lil dude. Glad to see you've been enjoying part 4. The suspense in this part is actually amazing and you can see many dynamics being so well explored that you might get a whole show just from some side plots/side characters Almost like there's a whole Spin off about a certain character you've been liking a lot recently... YES! kishibe rohan! Since you reacted to rohan's introduction back in early part 4 you unlocked the animated series "Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan" which follows rohan on paranormal plots not always related to stands, more like Reimi side plot. Eager to see if you plan on watching it after part 4 ends!

Drinking IV fluid is peak cartoon logic, mainly because most IV fluid is just saline which wouldnt really help in a situation like this, and would likely just make you vomit or even give you diarrhea. Even with vitamins added it wouldnt be nearly as efficient as it directly being put into the bloodstream. But who am I to complain about the show being unrealistic, its JoJos for crying out loud T^T

It does seem to get more realistic as it goes (as far as things that exist in the real world go), since Araki does more research. Though some concepts that were disproven later manage to fit in, but that could be accounted for by them just being true in this universe.

Quite a gift for us to see another upload so soon! Araki had to give us Josuke on a motorcycle sometime, since Josuke's outfit is based on Prince's from Purple Rain, and Prince is on a motorcycle on the cover. Happy to see you invested, Araki really excels at intense moments. Fun thing to note: Crazy Diamond is pink, while being named after the song "Shine on, you crazy diamond" by the band Pink Floyd, and Highway Star is purple, while being named after the song of the same name by the band Deep Purple.

Hayato is one smart boy, and also, does Josuke have his license to ride that back lol? Another great two episodes and analyses. One thing I noticed is the reason Yuya/Highway Star was so terrifying is his need to survive or heal himself is very similar to the animal stands, which want to survive as well and will do whatever it takes to achieve that. Instincts on point. Wow, such a strong-ass stand. AND YAY, the best JOJO meme with Act 3. I forgot how strong Stray Cat was, dang, and if Hayato beat Stray Cat that means that he is stronger than Kira who was beat by Stray Cat, so that means Hayato is stronger than Kira. Excited for da nextttt!! Yippee have a great day and new years.

you've hit the nail on the head! it feels super realistic as well - as humans we're not always gonna be able to think calmly in every situation, but then sometimes we hit a state of flow and excel in extremely intense situations. Araki is indeed an absolute genius
