HEYO, amazing people! :)) I've heard that Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan (TSKR) has possible spoilers if I were to watch it BEFORE Part 5? What do you guys think?

Also, I am still sick right now fml, so reactions likely to resume on Friday/Saturday. STAY HEALTHY, EVERYBODY 🤍🤍

Yesss please!! It’s such a unique little mini series, more focused on horror and supernatural themes. More time in Morioh too, getting to see the characters later on and in Arakis modern style. Most people tend to watch it before part 5, as there is a teeny tiny connection.

There are no spoilers, they’re all from part 4, part 5 takes place after in the time line.

Nope, no P5 spoilers or any part if I recall correctly. Thus Spoke is a very standalone short stories that has very little to do with Stands, where you pretty much only need to know Part 4 because of Rohan and some cameos. But all of the adapted stories were made over the years, like one of them was made during Part 8 lol but again, they don't really spoil any parts.

Man it's difficult I want to see part 5 but thus spoke rohan kishibe is a fun watch after pt 4😭 I'd love to see part 5 first but I'm there either way 😌

there are no spoilers, id argue its the opposite, it actually sets up episode 1 of part 5

The thus spoke kishibe Rohan are kind of isolated to their own mostly in morioh but one episode in Italy (but no crossover references to other JoJo stuff). They are usually all tributes to famous horror movies such as twin peaks, and are deliberately unsettling. It's less so good Vs evil, but more so strange phenomenon and people, and kishibe Rohan interaction with these strange things. Also characters beside Rohan are very very rarely involved, it's mostly just him.

I would recommend watching them after JoJo's entirely, considering some episodrs take place in the 2020's (after part 5 and 6)

There are no spoilers in Thus Spoke. There’s one allusion to something you’ll see in part 5, but it’s not a spoiler or anything. One character asks another character to use their stand in a particular way and then in the first episode of part 5 they call back to it.

None of them take place in the 2020s. There are only four episodes and all of them are around 1999-2006ish.

Wouldn't mind either way, but TSKR does have a different art style compared to any other part and might confuse the fuck out of you in regards to its timeline in the main story. But its really just a spin off that has no ties to what the JoJos and the DIOs of the world (lol) are up to. Probably the closest to filler in JJBA.

2026-09-06 19:00 Honestly in my opinion it is the last thing you should watch after part 6 and it would be a really good time to fill in the gap of the wait for Part 7. Chronologically it would be after Part 5 tho.

Get well soon Steph, here it be snowing like crazy but yeah can watch TSKR before if want to stay in Morioh a lil longer but it does occur after part 5 like chronologically or as someone mentioned after part 6 if you want some JoJo to watch before part 7 begins. Firstly, I wish you the best regarding family and your health. I'm really looking forward to your part 5 reactions🥳!! This part is my favorite and has my favorite opening in JoJo's (Traitor's requiem). Also seems you have about 81 episodes left including TSKR. With a little less than 9 weeks to SBR you could get it done if you watched 9-10 episodes a week!
