2 hours of peak fiction, let's freaking gooooo, yippee yay, REZEEEEEE. Nice to see this arc, as I read it in the manga, and dang, the performances and animation are stellar. Crazy that we had 3 anime movies and some others too that were at the cinemas and made a good box office return. It's crazy that we are in an age where we also get anime movies present and enjoyed by many. Yay! Excited to watch this whole 2 hours, yippee! Also, if you want to watch more Tatsuki Fujimoto-related works, there is Tatsuki Fujimoto 17–26, which is an anthology series that adapts 8 of his short stories by 8 animation studios before Chainsaw Man and also has the seiyuu for Jotaro in one of the episodes, it seems. I have yet to continue, but it started quite well.

The pool scene is so much more beautiful and depressing on rewatch. It’s the one moment Denji and Reze probably have ever gotten to act like actual kids. Not the bomb or the chainsaw but two teenagers sharing a moment of innocence together. This was reaction was definitely worth the wait Steph! Can’t wait to see what you react to next!

Fun little fact to think about, if you go back to the song Reze sang when she strangled the guy and read the lyrics, it actually was (and this is comfirmed by Fujimoto himself) describing what her ideal date would be like, a normal life and natural death, and her actual deep desire to run away with Denji. Everything is ready for my date with Jane We are going to the church in the morning We will have coffee and omelettes in the cafe After we take a stroll in the park We'll go to the aquarium to see dolphins and penguins Jane loves so much We'll rest in the afternoon So what did we do in the morning? We'll reminisce and remember We will not remember we spent the night in church.

This is one of my favorite anime films, the music, the fighting, the romance, the animation, it’s just so good it has everything you need for a perfect film. The pool scene is so beautiful and intimate it expresses so much in such a simple scene, also I don’t know if you noticed how it cuts to the spider trapping the butterfly in its web during the pool scene to symbolize how Denji has fully fell for Reze’s trap, I love that detail. The end when Denji and Reze fall back in the water together and the music starts playing sends goosebumps through me every time. Also I love Aki and the Angel devils relationship so much, when he grabs the Angel devils hand and the Angel devil collapses into his arms is so sweet and intimate, especially when you realize the Angel Devil probably hasn’t been like that it along time or maybe has never been held like that because of people being to scared to come in contact with him because of the the lifespan depletion,it’s so sad yet so beautiful at the same time when you think about it. I just can’t express enough how much I love this film I could genuinely talk about it for hours.

I stopped somewhere but it is after this film. Probably should continue as it is very good, and sounds great have a great week ahead and thanks for dropping 4 episodes of Vento Aureo, Ougon no Kaze, Golden Wind and also the whole Reze arc, tis great evening gift after watching Avatar 3 also worth the watcccchhh. Nice catch with Reze never referring to denji as chainsawman. I think you're the only reactor I know who caught that. Also additional fun fact with spider and moth scene. The spider also died on that scene as the moth it caught is poisonous to it.

It’s not shown in the movie but in the manga when they are in the phone booth, she says she’s going to get her handkerchief and she reaches into her pocket, a lot of people, including me think that was the moment she was going to take out her knife and try and kill Denji right there, but Denji puked up the flower to cheer her up and it catches her off guard. And I thought it was weird at first she would touch the flower he threw up, but in hindsight it makes sense because she probably never been given flowers in her life so I feel like she just went with it because she just wanted to have a normal teen girl life, she was even studying, even though she doesn’t go to school.

A lot of people interpret Reze snapping Denji’s neck on the beach as her just trying to get away…but actually she’s concerned about Denji’s future She says that helping her would make him complicit in murder and that he should be smarter, she try’s to protect him by making it where he can’t run away with her in that moment There’s also a lot of symbolism to eyes in the movie and in Reze’s singing scene Makima is swinging her coffee cup to the music and in the ally saying she likes the country mouse too, showing she was watching/listening the whole time I also think you can interpret the spider web in a bunch of different ways…I view it more that Denji is the web to catch Reze the moth, and Makima is the spider the actual apex predator of the show CSM is one of my favorite anime and manga, movie is literally perfect and I’m excited we are getting S2 already

Man, I went to see the movie the day it came out with my friends, by the end of the movie I was straight crying and they wouldn't let me hear the end of it. Absolute PEAK cinema

The draining Power’s blood scene is funny, until you realize it probably doesn’t mean through a needle… but hacking into her and forcing her to heal or lose blood until she’s weak enough to meet their standards. Then the fear she shows there is super sad. Season 2 is about to be some of the hardest anime in existence. I can promise you have no idea how to even prepare for what is to come. When a date is announced, I beg you to do an off camera rewatch in the week before. This is going to make JJK and hells paradise feel like child’s play
