Guys, I don't think it's physically possible for me to get through one Jojo's Part without crying ffs...

Not gonna lie, still in sheer awe of how epic those fights were. Build-up = perfection. Execution = GOD TIER. Bruno really said "THIS MY ANIME NOW, BOI".

,,, i suppose its fitting im wearing one of my dads old grateful dead shirts hey? speaking of, i cant be the only one who thought jotaro and prosciutto sounded a little similar

WhoIsTheOneWhoCalls

Just got off work and went to check if you uploaded. I saw nothing and closed the tab and got ready to do some chores. Then, I got the email, thank you so much Steph! Now I can shirk my duties for another hour, yay!

persika

you are getting these reactions out so fast!!!😭 so excited to watch this, this fight is epic🫶

Fernando Aguja

The versatility of sticky fingers is incredible, my Bruno shining as always. ARRIVEDERCI 😉🥰🫠 I'd still worship this love 🤐😍 I LOVE your reactions

Gyro_GoGo_Zeppeli

That's what's so great about the Hitman Team, it's that they're all dangerous because they're all determined. They're not shying away that they're killers since its their main job, their resolve to get the job done. And that's why Pesci's growth is great! It's a dark opposite of how heroes grow, he lacks resolve and can become a strong assassin if he's more determined and Prosciutto knows that. Prosciutto's relationship with Pesci is more of a tough parenting kind of deal where he acts like an older brother to him because he knows Pesci's potential but also knows their line of work isn't the type for second guessing and pussyfooting around in fear.

Wonder Of You

part 5 has some of the best fights in the series

PsychoHelmet

Seeing her absolute disgust towards Proscuitto 😂 is hilarious especially knowing how beloved he is in the community, it's refreshing.

hello there

I can't lie Bruno felt like the protagonist during this fight. Aside from Echoes act 3, Cheap Trick was probably the last sentient stand you've seen

Huerga

Bruno didn’t make that zipper completely secretly. When he supposedly tries to punch Prosciutto, his fist actually hits the floor. And right after that, the zipper appears.

lola

this fight is so good! ngl the part 5 fights are all phenomenal. bruno melts my heart he's so compassionate and cool

gagarin

this was probably my second favorite fight in the whole part, Prosciutto is pure aura with a peak stand, and I love how cinematic the fights are combined with how high the stakes are since both sides intend to outright kill each other also my favorite Bruno scenes, I love Sticky Fingers and he uses it incredibly well the Squadra Esecuzioni so far has had a pretty rough go of it in these fights, but they do get alarmingly close, too bad for Prosciutto that Mista can survive 3 bullets to the head, maybe if it was 4 Prosciutto would've won lol

persika

as a girl who loves jjba, i totally understand your statement at the end! while i love so many of the characters despite their gender, it is nice to see female characters who are stand users. but don’t worry! you’ve already picked up on the fact that trish will be there soon ;) also, a little fun fact, giorno was originally supposed to be a girl. it was araki’s editor that convinced him to make giorno a boy, as it would appeal more to the majority male audience of shōnen manga. no complaints from me though, as i’d love giorno either way😅 despite this, i’ve always thought that araki writes what he wants and doesn’t typically just follow what’s trending, and i think that’s pretty evident through his work haha. there’s something for everyone in jojo’s, and there’s more female stand users in your future🩷

ZamNoExam

BRUNOOOOO, OUR BEST MOM. SEX PISTOLS, the little goats, awww, and such an amazing stand, well done and well coordinated. NUMBA 5 MIIIIISTAAAA, such luck. La Squadra and Bruno's team are the two sides of the same coin, as essentially they are essentially both against the Boss but have different methods of going about it, whereas one will do whatever it takes to do as much damage/destruction to cripple their foe, i.e., the Boss, by trying to take out his daughter as well to use his drug money for themselves, while the others (i.e., Giorno and Bruno) are working up the ranks and doing things with honor while protecting to hopefully take over to free the city of drugs so that the kids don't get shot up with illegal substances. Gotta respect Sir Ham turned himself old to get the drop on Mista; mad respect for such a cool dude. Love his dynamic with Pesci; he just wants his bro to have resolve/confidence to stand up for himself and do what needs to be done and can tell that he truly cares for him and trusts him; hence, he has him tag along as he knows Pesci can do anything if he puts his mind to it. Such an inspirational but despicable guy—what he's saying is not wrong, but he do be manipulative. Whereas Bruno and his team have the real bond, protect Trish and each other, and yes, they too are killing others, but they still have a moral code and do what they can to protect one another and their city as well, for selfless reasons So it is sad to see the differences between the assassin team vs. a protection team. As they too could have been like La Squadra, being completely beaten and having their friends be cubed and strangled and losing all hope, I wish for them to be able to redeem themselves, as they are such tragic characters, especially Pescii, my boyyyy. Exciteddddd Kakugo ii kara ore wa dekiteru"—my fave Bruno lineee, what resolveeee. Arrivederci, Pesciiii! All the best, and digging the enthusiasm and analyses as usual. Yay, have a wonderful Sunday. Thanks for providing 5 episodes lucky week

53:10 Steph?😭

Kart3rbroder (aka John)

No Steph, we won't Ignore your Statement on Sticky Finger's Waist Zipper and how it's... Placed 😭

Owen Harper

Your hatred for Prosciutto was PALPABLE

Jayden

When Pesci first realized Prosciutto was going to die I did feel bad because even though he treated him so badly he didn't see it that way and he was all he had their dynamic reminded me of okuyasu and keicho... But then he became fully evil and tried to kill Coco Jumbo so I lost all mercy for him😭

GhostFace

Pesci is a well written character! I love pesci😂

Pistache0

Idk why i'm so rooting with the antagonists in this one. I absolutely love Prosciutto and Pesci it's a shame to seeing them loose. Love how violent the part is too. Russian roulette with each fight it's rlly cool. A delight to watch again.

WerruzoSama888

Prosciutto seemed like a real scumbag at first but he means everything he says. The enemies in Part 5 are awful people but there's something rather admirable about them. Prosciutto genuinely wanted to see Pesci grow and berated him when he wasn't trying his absolute best. It's actually heartwarming and the way they went out is kinda sad. They're still scumbags though lol.

ZombieKi11er

So many comments, so many new faces, it’s amazing to see this community grow. Well deserved as well.

ZombieKi11er

Kudos to the animation team for these wonderful and (mostly) manga accurate fights. As much as I love these fights there’s not enough punching time (could just be my man brain though). Bruno is almost perfect, (maybe too perfect) but that’s what I like him. Man is literally good at everything, which reminds me of Jotaro. Mista is still my favorite part 5 Jobro though. Regarding your last question, I thought his character saw so much growth in so little time I thought he was gonna pull a Hol Horse but that wasn’t the case. So yeah, I kinda do feel bad he was killed off.

astralman

Yeah, I really thought Jotaro and Prosciutto had the same voice actor for a long time. I was surprised when I checked and realized they didn't.

astralman

Skip the intro just in case? Just admit you want to get to the action. LOL. There's no more spoilers to find here until the next intro. . Keep in mind that Pesci willingly joined the hitman team, so he wasn't exactly innocent to begin with. . I think the fact that Prosciutto praised Pesci's quick thinking when he was on the end of the fishing line, when Pesci couldn't have heard him, shows, to some extent, that his praise before and moments of respect were genuine. . I'm glad to see you take notice of the choreography, so much of it is based on the panels of the manga, which sometimes look like a really intense and well drawn storyboards, especially the ones that involve Polnareff in part 3 and Mista in Part 5, since there's so much movement in their fights requiring multiple angles.

Faust

Mama Bruno always looking out for his boys (and girl now). Also, I think Anubis is technically the very first sentient stand we see.

Otaku Steph

HAHA perfect timing! Procrastinating with anime is the best

Otaku Steph

YIPPPIIIEE!! 🤍 Omigosh yes it was really sick meeting Lisa Lisa, especially considering WHEN Araki had written JoJo’s. He’s always ahead of the game and v endearing to know he’s trying to push more strong female characters 🥹 Someone had mentioned he was considering making Anne from Part 3 a Stand user, but decided against it due to her young age. WHAT A MANGAKA

Otaku Steph

WE LOVE BRUNOOOO!! 🥹🥹 thank you, Fernando!

Otaku Steph

Agreed! It’s really cool to have a set group of villains all with terrifying, bloodthirsty resolve. Now that you mention it, tough love is needed, esp considering the line of work they’re in. But FUCK PROSCIUTTO AT THE SAME TIME LOOL

Otaku Steph

Man I was genuinely on the edge of my seat, these episodes were CRAZY

Otaku Steph

POOR PESCI, HE ALREADY LOOKS LIKE AN EXPIRED CARROT, YOU CAN’T KICK THE MAN WHILST HE’S DOWN 😭

Otaku Steph

He REALLY took over these episodes. What a goat. Also omg, how did I forget that lil’ shit LOL 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Otaku Steph

I have a feeling they’re only gonna get better from here on out too 😌😌 WE LOVE BRUNO

Otaku Steph

Oooo v good point. I’m extremely relieved they weren’t 4 bullets HAHA

Otaku Steph

I SAID WHAT I SAID, NO REGRETS 😌😂😂

Otaku Steph

PESCI ALREADY LOOKS LIKE A SWEATY CARROT, WHY’S HE KICKING HIM WHILST HE’S DOWN 😭

Otaku Steph

YEEE it deffo was a v similar relationship 😞 as soon as more innocent people got involved, any semblance of pity from me disappeared LOL

Otaku Steph

It’s honestly v valid! You do have to respect their own unwavering resolve AND they almost killed ALL of the crew. Incredibly impressive villains

Otaku Steph

YEAH you deffo have to respect their determination! From my POV, I had assumed he was being disingenuous to ensure the mission was completed, but looking back and seeing most of your guys’ sentiments, I understand where y’all are coming from. Also true…FUCK THOSE GUYS

Otaku Steph

HAHAH ‘man brain’ fricks sake 😂😂 if you’re itching for something similar to Steely Dan’s beatdown, that’s so valid haha. YEAH Omigosh that would’ve been so nice to see! But Pesci was too far gone 😞

Fernando Aguja

A great line for him and his Sticky Fingers "redwood tree it ain't hard to see." 🤭🫦 Thanks to you Steph 💖 you're Amazing

Otaku Steph

HAHA I’m always torn - vibe with PEAK music with possible risk of spoilers? Or jump straight in? 😎😎 Ooo yes good point on the fishing line! I’d initially deemed Prosciutto to be incredibly disingenuous towards Pesci, but now I disagree with myself haha. Also, DP has really put a lot of love into it. The fights are chaotic but clean enough to watch and the pacing of it all is really well done!

Otaku Steph

Not all heroes wear capes…sometimes they wear extremely tight suits 😌

Gyro_GoGo_Zeppeli

Lol I saw you mad dogging Prosciutto the whole episode after Mista was shot.

ffp

32:41 the mafia member said it, exactly what made Jotaro so fckn powerful even without SP Mammone is italian for "mommy's boy", i remember my nonno saying this to my uncle cuz he was such a momma's boi lmao. Grateful dead is my favourite stand from this part, besides the bangers from the band, the way Prosciutto behaves and uses grateful dead indiscriminately made me wish more exposure on their previous crimes. Agree on the stand design take, even if i miss the buffed man era, by that time Araki already explored Stands quite a lot and realized muscle and sheer strength doesn't guarantee a win. While other shonens are busting exponential strength and DPS as the rule for battle manga, Araki starts to rely heavily on sort of a "any ability on capable hands is deadly" and suspense to make interesting stories!

ffp

Also, growing up in an italian household makes the names in this part so funny! Araki reading a Trattoria menu: THIS IS FREE REAL STATE

Lood

Surprised to see you so disgusted by Prosciutto being supportive.

kyzbaa

im so happy. my fav part5 characters b2b! prosciutto and fugo r s-tier in terms of designs, stands n personalities

Robert Collard

Bruno is without a doubt the most popular character in Part 5, which is why people bash Giorno as a lower level JoJo (even though I love him). It doesn’t help that Bruno is so damn cool

Mathieu Aubre

Your face when Bucellati said ''Mista will take care of him'' made me die from laughter! So on point hahaha

Aras

Is Giorno a martin luther king jr ref🗣️

Gabriel Macedo

These some of the best episodes in the series. So damn good, man. Bruno is by far my favorite character. Not just in JoJo's but in any media honestly. I remember Araki put him on his top 3 favorites too. But this was before part 6 so yk, it probably changed. Josuke and kira was his top 1 and 2 btw. I believe Prosciutto actually really loves Pesci. In a messed up way of course. That's why he brings his little brother to his missions and is always scolding him. He wants to tough him up so he can survive on this world of gangsters. I also don't see Prosciutto as a necessarily arrogant guy. He doesn't underestimates his opponents, he understands Pesci panicking after getting shot, wants him to be more confident in himself and acknowledges Bruno's will and worth directly. He's one of my favorite villains of this part. The whole hitman team in is just really really good. I always like to remember that, in the end. Giorno, Bruno and the whole Hitman team wants the exact same thing. To bring the boss down. Ironically, maybe if they had met before this mission. They could have made some sort of deal and we would have a bigger and stronger team with pretty much the same motives. As you said, this part really portraits more realistic groups of people. Specially considering this shady and untrustworthy setting they live in. Some of them are on this mission for the money, some want revenge for their friends that were brutalized by the boss and some of them are just loyal to their leader. They manage to be complex without overly explaining themselves or going to the classic "bad guy with over the top terrible past". It leaves us to decide how to read them or to ignore to do so. They're bad people, murderers, weirdos, greedy. But they're also just.. people, yk? The hitman team also gives us some of the best fights in the series. (No spoilers i swear). Like, top 5 material stuff. I'm sure you'll agree when you see the metal vs red fight.(using codenames just to be sure lol).

Kosaki

The thing I like about this part is the characters are actually act like real "Gang-star". NO mercy, no chit-chat, no talk no jutsu, just straight up killing even though they are on protagonist side. Grateful Death is actually one of my fav stand's designs. So cool

Pizza_Mozzarella

As a bruno glazer, this is one of my favorite fights in all of jojo. Like you said, Bruno usually isn't the first one to be on the frontline, that's usually Mista's job, but when his crew is in trouble he really steps up and pretty much solos a 1v2 with some help from Sex Pistols. Also refreshing to see a battle where enemies team up, haven't had too much of that previously
