Here we go😭🫡

Wonder Of You

I don't like abacchios death. not for it being bad or anything it just makes me cry every time I see it. probably the hardest since ceasar for me. hits home 😭

Fernando Aguja

In Jojo's, it's too difficult to get attached to any character; Araki always breaks our hearts. It's his favorite sport. 💔😢

Hardcase

Abbacchios conversation at the end is one of my favorite scenes ever, I love how his partner comforted him at the very end, despite what Abbacchio had done previously

ZombieKi11er

I gotta work this shift before I watch it but this is gonna be a good one…

Petey Poo

Watch Superbowl LX or watch cute/funny/entertaining British girl react to Jojo. My choice has been made.

Brie&Apples

This sounds a bit macabre but Abbacchio's death is one of my favorites in the series. It feels just like Caesar's death in that he is able to carry out his last wishes, and it manages to be extremely sudden while still giving us enough time to process and grieve for him. It is so heartbreaking in all of the best ways.

Derrick C. Shields

Hey Steph, back in the scene when we first meet the gang, and Mista is flipping out about being served strawberry cake in four pieces because it's "bad luck to choose one from four", do you remember who gets up and serves himself a slice without a second thought? 😭 Oh, and my favorite detail in the OP when everyone is following behind Bruno isn't even that Fugo doesn't follow, it's that Narancia hesitates before going. Soooo good ☺️

Otaku Steph

SO VALID. It’s so hard not to break when Narancia is grieving too 😭

Otaku Steph

Also reminded me of Keicho and Okuyasu too 🥹 RIP ABBACCHIO, YOU WILL BE MISSED

Otaku Steph

OOO SHIT SUPERBOWL! watch both ez clap 😎

Otaku Steph

Omg Caesar’s death was a masterpiece too 😭 it’s been a few hours and I personally have still not processed Abbacchio’s death. 😞

Otaku Steph

DERRICK WHY HAVE U DONE THIS TO ME NOOOOOO 😭💔💔

Fernando Aguja

Absolutely 🥺 and he seems to enjoy it too.

hello there

Every time an ally dies, they always leave something behind that will help their JoJo out: Part 1: Will Zeppeli's remaining Hamon Part 2: Caesar Zeppeli's headband and antidote Part 3: Kakyoin Noriaki's clue about DIO Part 4: Yangu Shigechi's clue about Kira Part 5: Abbacchio's clue about Diavolo

Lime

Bro I saw rewatched abbachio's death scene with the acoustic version of chase playing in the background. I literally never cry when watching something but I swear my eyes started swelling up. For sure one of the saddest deaths.

Gyro_GoGo_Zeppeli

Steph finally arrived at PAIN CENTRAL. :( A key thing to take from the Abbachio episode is: "Only the results! In this world, only the results matter!" - Diavolo "When you desire only the result, you start taking shortcuts...and when you start taking shortcuts, you might lose sight of the truth. Eventually you'll lose your motivation too. I believe that the will to seek out the truth is what's important." - Abbachio's partner

hello there

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought Abba was getting an Okuyasu moment and decide to just come back to life :( it still hurts

ZombieKi11er

Super Bowl Sunday at a sports bar that’s throwing a banquet and open seating? It’s like a dream come true 😂. Cherry on top is closing tonight and opening tomorrow morning lol.

WerruzoSama888

Although he gave him immense grief, Abbachio left a hint in death he knew only Giorno could solve. He trusted him and his ability to understand his last message in his final moments which spoke a lot to his true opinion of Giorno. And though they were forced to leave Abbachio behind Giorno turned his body into a bed of Dandelions in honor of his namesake, Leone Abbachio.

Brie&Apples

Since we now know Diavolo's name I can mention this. Diavolo is the Italian word for devil and Dio is the italian word for god. So part 5 of jojo's is literally the story of the son of god and his apostles fighting the devil.

Derrick C. Shields

Yes, this detail is so good. It blew my mind when I realized, after watching someone else watch part 5, that no one else could have figured out Abbachio's message except Gold Experience. Abbachio learned to trust literally in his last moments of life. God damn Shakespearean, I swear.

Howl

I like how JoJo's shows that when a character dies, they have to see someone important from their past before they truly pass away. When Okuyasu almost died, he had a conversation with his brother. The same thing happened with Kira and Reimi, who, although not a loved one, was important on his path since she was his first victim. And now it's happening again with Abacchio and his old partner. I think it's an incredible way to say goodbye to an important character.

Derrick C. Shields

Lol loving the reactions, if it wasn't obvious. Thanks!

ZamNoExam

So Giorno who's name means day is seizing the day as Jesus wow

lola

a lot of people theorise that the meteor, and in other words the origin of stands, was from the planet that mikitaka was from. i guess that would explain why he was immune to it…

ZamNoExam

ABBACHIOOO NOOO Damn, this is now the 3rd time I have seen this scene, but yes, as others mentioned, other jobros always leave behind clues or help for those ahead; here it is a leaving/sharing of resolve. Exciteddddd and rip our boy; he was a great Italian dish. At least he is now with his partner; glad he was at least able to have a great convo with his partner and now can have talks and chats for days while watching over his friends—such a great detective. I feel JoJo is one of the only shows I am able to rewatch; it is like watching my favorite sitcom. Thanks, Steph, for the quick analyses. May Abba be a part of our resolve to carry on and use his energy to defeat Diavolo, who does have at least a respectful side to him, where he commends Risotto on his fight, as Risotto won the fight but Diavolo won the war thanks to a 3rd party. Even if he has family problems and secrecy, he is not a complete psycho like Kira. Risotto, what a lad to deal a final blow, but part of me doesn't want Diavolo to lose, just like Wamuu, such a commendable warrior, providing their opponent to remain with honor and pride. Awww, got me conflicted yayy, a man driven by fear versus men driven by resolve and truth and the Italian way. Bruno is quick-witted and has instincts for days; that is our mom, and the truth always comes out, and justice will prevail. Now on Psycho's Chocolate, man is a real freak and despicable human being; damn his patients and the elderly, a true nutcase, hazelnut choco, Diavolo must be in a big pinch to call in an inhuman individual like him. He's giving Kira a run for his money and films his victims too, bruh. At least with Kira it's instantaneous death, while with Choco Boy it's long and excruciating, and it's all-out bloodshed and SECCOO. BUT his fashion design is so cool. So based on the way Diavolo views them as utter filth, it seems that he would very much dislike Kira as well. Also rewatching I noticed when they showed us the video from Gelato and Sorbet's death we have someone who has a silhouette of Choco man, didn't notice that before and in the manga they never show the silhouette and always seemed like some mysterious assassin but in the anime episodes 8-9 they do show his outline as their killer, crazy individual 😭 Also on a final note, I always find it funny that you call Coco Jumbo by its stand name, Mr. President. Then again, Mr. President is a cool stand name and has a great ring to it; such a resilient boy our old fella Coco Jumbo is. Thank you, Boss, for providing him to our team.

Gyro_GoGo_Zeppeli

So yeah, if you look back on the shadows that killed Sorbet and Gelato you'd see it was Ciocolatta and Secco. In the manga, this was never really revealed, but in the anime the production team just made it them because "Hey, I mean Ciocolatta was a doctor so he'd know how to slowly kill someone and keep them alive." And yeah, as you can tell already, Ciocolatta's pure scum that even Diavolo doesn't like calling them up even as a last option.

lola

i believe this is why some people have the theory that diavolo was a devil, or evil being that possessed doppio. his mysterious, fatherless birth seems rather biblical in that sense also, and cause theres sm mystery around diavolo then i guess you don’t really know

Pistache0

Here comes the freaks... Can't wait for them two, Cioccolata VA is divine

BadCompany

Ahhhhhh is THAT episode again… can’t wait for the voice in the computer to make his intro, what a goat!

gagarin

Abbachio's death is definitely the JoJo death that hit me the hardest by this point and there aren't many others that impacted me as hard since he's one of my favorite characters and stands. Everyone's reaction from Giorno and Mista's silence to Narancia's denial and then Bucciarati bleeding from biting his lip so hard makes it even sadder. Rest in peace Abbachio, our big titty goth bf :( Also rip Risotto, man only died because of plot and he still went out like the goat. We're getting pretty close to the end now and all I'll say is that these last 10 or so episodes will pass way faster than you expect, though really this whole part moves at light speed with the plot anyway.

Robert Collard

RIP Goth GF Abbachio. Still one of the hero deaths that hits you like a gut punch (no pun intended) Also welcome to the scumbags at the level of Steely Dan from Stardust Crusaders and Angelo from Diamond is Unbreakable in Cioccolata and Secco.

Icy101yt

Okay i’m late again but thats because i was dying my hair what did i- oh. Oh thats. Thats gore of my comfort character

ZamNoExam

Yep sad times indeed and what color

Icy101yt

Its black and pink!! Well the pink went kind of red by accident but its black and pink

Luke

Fuck Fugo! All my homies HATE Fugo!!!

Luke

If he was there, then maybe Abbacchio wouldn’t have died 🥲

persika

ohhh steph! those tears hit me too😭 abbacchio using the last of his time on earth to help his friends never fails to break my heart… they were so very dear to him. then, as if his death alone wasn’t bad enough, we have narancia’s breakdown and bruno’s silent grieving :( years later and i still have yet to recover💔 tears and heartache aside, i’m greatly anticipating you meeting the voice in the computer!! it’s going to be great ^^ before then, however, we’ll be seeing more of this nasty duo! cioccolata and secco are certainly the lowest of the low- araki sure knows how to give his readers/viewers the creeps😅 anyway, i hope you’ve been doing well lately! there’s so much illness going around, so here’s to you staying healthy <3 see you next time!!

Luke

Does it damage your hair at all? My ex used to dye her hair like every other week and her shiii was FRIED!!!

Icy101yt

Mmh the die itself doesnt do much but i did have to bleach some for the pink and yea hair bleach damages alot. I used to bleach it every few months and it was impossible to brush. But its pretty manageable now

Luke

That’s wasssssuppp!🤘

Memesicles

I am so hyped for the upcoming episodes

Ogrish

King Crimson's stand name is borrowed from the prog-rock band, Epitaph too is borrowed from a song from the band off their debut album "In the Court of the Crimson King" also King Crimson's design is inspired by George from Total Recall, a character who has a miniature twin brother attached to him, and as can be seen, King Crimson has the miniature Epitaph attached to it

StarlitDraco

I am happy and sad, finally a beach episode but it's the worst kind, i mean it's Jojo anything can happen in an episode :( also "Fun" little detail about Abbacchio's corpse: Giorno turned his body into a flower bed, and the flowers he turned it into were in fact dandelions. in Italian, dandelions are called "dente di leone" which is quite fitting seeing as how Abbacchio's first name is Leone. Not to mention. the flower meaning of dandelions is that they stand for being tough, but also for being fading

StarlitDraco

And that's why Diavolo will never reach the truth

Babi Ketjap

Episode 29 is so cool, from the arrows, to the Stardust Crusaders reference, to the colosseum (where the stone masks and Pillar Men were under in part 2)

Pizza_Mozzarella

Three points/details from these episodes: 1. Way back in the hitman squad backstory when sorbet and gelato got chopped up, you could see the silhouettes of Cioccolata and Secco doing it. 2. Abbacchio was the biggest Giorno doubter in the squad, but in the end when it mattered he left the rock in his hand as a hint, knowing the only one who can follow the trail was Giorno. 3. When Bruno gets wounded he doesn't really bleed, yet after Abbacchio's death he bit his lips and it bled for a second

Howler

The mystery man gave you a hint part he was in as the stand and users are from a certain part of the jostar story.

Johnny Doe

Oi, spoilers mate? Wtf

Kart3rbroder (aka John)

IM BACKKK, i had to work hard for the 6,50$ tho 😭. I'm a bit Broke, so please don't Judge me. But you're the literally only Entertaining person Left in 2026

Petey Poo

She could've literally figured that out on her if you had just waited 1-2 episodes 🤦

astralman

. In case you haven't figured it out yet, Diavolo is Italian for "Devil", which is why the story of his early days is depicted as a legend with his birth scene inspired by the film "Rosemary's baby", which is a film about a woman who gives birth to the child of the devil. "Doppio" means "double", often referring to an order of coffee. . I can now tell you that this part has parallels to the story of Jesus, with Giorno (who's name is Italian for "day") being the parallel to Jesus in how he supports and heals while also providing guidance, plus the fact that he's the son of DIO (which is Italian for "God"). . Araki had originally intended Fugo to play the Judas role, but by the time he got to that point he had grown attached to the characters, as well as dealing with depression that made him feel more sensitive, and he felt like a close friend betraying the others was crueler than anything else he could do to them, so he had Fugo become the one who's too scared to rebel, not just because of how dangerous Passione is, but because he can't trust his own emotions due to his extreme bipolar disorder. . The conflict between Diavolo and Risotto that shapes much of this part's story, references a line in the King Crimson song "In The Court Of The Crimson King" that describes a "yellow jester" who is the only one not afraid to stand up to the Crimson King, which is why Risotto is dressed like a dark jester with bells on his hat with the letters of his name. The "yellow" coming in the form of the oxygen deprived blood of his victim.

Gabriel Macedo

Ciocollata annoys me so much He's such a disgusting character but.. HIS FIT IS SO FIRE BRO

Misa

He literally didn't, this is just a dumb spoiler, even dumber cuz you didn't delete the comment...

StoriesFromTheAbyss

"We're not just gonna leave him here alone?" Man Narancia in that scene just fucking kills me inside, it's so heartbreaking.
