The way Mob Psycho delivers unsettling scenes is an absolute masterclass. Got my stomach in knots from laughing one second, then stomach in knots from anxiety in the next.

I've only ever gotten to Episode 4, so these have been uncharted territory for me. Honestly, I probably would have kept watching if I had gotten to EP 6 ^^;

When I first watched Mob Psycho 100, I watched the first two episodes and I couldn't really get into it. It was really cute but I wasnt hooked. Later, I met someone in an online game using the name and pfp of Dimple, and I had seen that image a lot so I decided to give it another try until I met him in the story. Episodes 5 and 6 completely hooked me for the rest of the series and I never looked back. What I find fascinating about Teru vs Mob is that, like the anime states literally, neither of them gave in to the other's ideals. And interestingly, it wasnt until Teru was completely vulnerable, down to being naked and bald amd floating in the sky, that he realized he really wasnt anything special and that he lost. He even acted victorious when Mob first attacks him because he just wanted to feel right. I love this anime 😭

I've always found One Punch man to be a very cynical view of the genre, so Mob Psycho had a difficult position with me from the beginning. When I got to EP4 and it honestly seemed like it would be a kind of monster of the week kinda deal I just stopped watching it. I didn't have a lot of time for anime back then and focused on Ranking of Kings instead. ^^
