The song can play on the ingame radios and i kid you not if its playing while I’m driving around nc i HAVE to pull over. and just let it play until it finishes. This is one of my favorite shows ever and i am so so glad one of my favorite reactors ever went through it, i will now disappear (from comments anyway, i still watch other things) till jojo and edgerunners 2 <33 thank you for filling almost if not an entire year of my life with amazing content

2026-09-06 19:00 loved rewatching it destroyed me for almost amonth the first time it such a sad ending and Becca's death messed me up its soo fast and gory.....if you ever play the cyberpunk game, it takes place canonically after the anime and just like every legends they name a drink after David and you can get Beccas gun and david's jacket along with his sandevistan

2026-09-06 19:00 I'm a bit sad, cause Adam Smasher in both the game or the anime doesnt seem that strong in comparaison to his tabletop version, where it was a run ender whenever the GM decided that he wanted to stop the game entirely. Loved thooses reactions of yours as always!

In edgerunner tho? Yeah that's the boogeyman, the only thing he did not touch (entirely at least) is his brain. For the song, yeah almost all the songs you heard in the anime came from the game, appart from the opening, i'm not sure that any of them isnt in the game (correct me if i'm wrong?) One of my favorite shows, for a bit of reference Cyberpsychosis is kind of both a literal physical concept (shown with the immunoblockers) but also a theoretical concept about humanity, Adam Smasher is a high-functioning cyberpsycho because Adam Smasher is a sociopath who feels zero empathy and had zero "humanity" to begin with hence there was nothing for the chrome to erode. Also Adam Smasher follows his doctors orders because he only uses his Sandevistan twice in the fight against David.

This anime did a really amazing job at capturing what NC is about. No matter how hard you fight, how badass you are, or how special you think you are - the corps are always at the top. All you become is a legend for the next dreamer to chase.

There is kind of a epilogue for what happens to Lucy after the event of ep 10. It's in the game Wuthering Waves' collab with Edgerunner. It might not be regarded as cannon but it's definitely worth checking out. Can just watch someone explained it on youtube and the cutscenes are excellently made and worth watching. What a great last few episodes. Had no experience with the game, so the world and the story are new to me. We've known what was coming for awhile, just due to the foreshadowing, but it felt really good to have characters aware enough to say their goodbyes and for the carnage to have SOME meaning, even while everyone ended up pretty much where and how we might have expected. I guess the saddest bit again is simply how the little people live and die in the shadow of the corporations, unrecognized and unmourned, while the oligarchs and corporations spin onwards like giant malevolent arachnids, everything lost in their webs. Pushing for change seems so fruitless, depressingly so. Still, the moon....!
