Cant's wait to watch this and then can share the breakdown for Ep. 1 and later Ep. 2. Also, there's no spoilers for the ED, but either way, yeah. Don't watch it. It's an abomination (well, the song is, the visuals are cool). So you can check it out without sound. OR play "Horse With No Name" or "Tusk" by Fleetwood Mac or anything else over it. Believe me, the song is that bad. It is even worse judging who made the ED song... we've got literally the worst of the worst for an ED... no joking or hyperbole btw. The song and stuff surrounding it (its producer) is literally THE WORST scenario we could have possibly got. The rest are fine (the other people working on the ED and the animation/visuals, those are cool). Except that apparently they might have been slightly plagiarised from the Arcane OP.... I've just played Fleetwood Mac The Chain over the ED and it's LITERALLY beat to beat PERFECT. It even ends on the pause. It's absolutely PERFECT. How TF DID THEY NOT DO THIS, ARE YOU SERIOUS? You missed the post credit scene Steph! It's a bit tricky on Netflix because the order is after the ending there is a possible post credit scene and after the post credit scene comes the Netflix subtitle credits etc., so when you hover your mouse to the very end you hover past the post credit scene! Also, the ending song is okay to watch it's just aura farming moments, spoils way less than the OP (it actually doesn't spoil anything)

Pretty good episode overall, there are somethings they should probably be clarifying or at least mentioning now but we'll see if they bring them up soon. The Second Stage picks up more towards the end. ED song is not good. I don't mind an original song for it, but it's giving that one time Machine Gun Kelly rapped about JJK. I also hear the producer on it is a very bad guy. I also don't particularly like the animation for it but a better song can save a meh animation.

I think the ending is good, even tho it breaks the JoJo formula of using an old song. But then again, new universe new rules. Dio even has a different VA. Out of curiosity, what's the problem with who made the ED? I know Yuki Chiba has a song with Megan thee Stallion and that's about it

There is a post credit scene after the ED and its really interesting, I recommend you to watch it at the start of next week for the next episode

Music is subjective, I think the song sounds good, and I didn’t like Chase or End of the World as openings so I guess people have different tastes. About the accusations, yeah choosing him as a producer is something I would have avoided due to the baggage. But then again, the lawsuit was settled without prosecution so I would be careful stating he did those things as they remain as allegations

Yeah, it's why I say alleged. Either way, having a person like that, with such a track record, as the official producer of the song is distasteful at best and downright insulting at worst, especially judging SBR context. Whether he actually did it or not... Especially judging the song being as is, and it breaking the tradition and everything...

Oh man I’m late! Guess that’s what I get for staying up till 1 am to watch it. Gotta say this episode was solid. I loved the way Gyro and Johnny interacted with each other. I will say the pacing seems a bit off but I’m assuming they rushed the shit out of the team for these first few episodes. I think Mountain Tim is awesome. Channeling my inner Arizonan. Let’s talk abt that outro. I haven’t seen your reaction yet but I’m gonna be clear: not a fan. Kinda disappointed because a huge part was the music directly chosen by Araki. He might have chosen this idk but I hope you get what I mean. I just don’t think Trap belongs in Jojos 😭. Anyways besides that it’s so good to have Jojo Fridays again. Makes me miss the old universe a bit.

Funny enough they changed the 8th place racers name for some weird reason lol. In the manga it’s Dixie Chicken, an album by Little Feat (also Formaggio’s stand in part 5) and changed it to Southern Chicken. The character isn’t that important just a bit of a weird name change imo

okay so part 7 and forwards existing in a different universe because of pucci is a common misconception, it actually has nothing to do with what happened in part 6. at the end of part 6 it simply reset to the og universe but as if pucci never existed because he was killed by emporio in the reset version of the universe. araki created a new universe for part 7 simply because he wanted to 'reboot' the series from the "roots of jojo." yay
