My loves! So I'm working on the It edit now, and I'll be starting the upload tonight. BUT the last full length movie I posted took about ten hours to upload/process. Patreon is having some kind of issue (which they're working on) so the video will probably be available tomorrow, and then I'll have Megan 2.0 for yall on Saturday. In the meantime, question for February! Next month I'm planning to do some of our monster romances (Your Monster, Lisa Frankenstein), but I want to know, do yall want a non-horror romance as well? If so, leave your suggestions in the comments please, loves. Keep in mind that I have seen a lot of the romances that were released before I started YouTube, but I kind of stopped watching most new films after 2020 because I wanted to save them as a just in case. 🥰🥰

SO excited for IT, thank you Alanda! 🙌

H V

Babe u NEED to watch Evil Dead (2013) or if u wanna take a break from horror The Bling Ring 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋

Jayistheeway

We gotta add primate to the list oh heavens

CJ

do Heart Eyes for February/Valentine’s Day. It’s a cute horror comedy.

Tyler Foster

It's not a romance but as far as non-horror goes, I still really hope to see Blindspotting on your channel someday.

Aaron E

After all of us being sufficiently traumatized by the Long Walk I’m ok with taking a light hearted break to watch people fall in love

Bravo Six

I think it’d be cool if you explore other genres every once in a while

Host_Yoo

I'm voting "yes" on non-horror romance because one of the movies I have always wanted to see you react to is a Korean movie called The Handmaiden. I have a feeling you may have already seen it, but, if not, I HIGHLY recommend it, even if you watch it on your own.

Taj Cochrane

Idk I want to vote keep it horror but I also don’t care cause I love you so much 😭😂 have you seen Heart Eyes, I think is what it’s called idk girl. But that falls in theme, it was cute

Dick Thomson

Watch 'The Collector' (1965) for Valentine's. 😉

Danielle Culpepper

13 Going on 30! I don't care if it's a rewatch. It'll be one for me too.

Salomé

I don't really watch romance like that, but I'm cool with anything.

Richard

Not a romance but would love for you to continue the Die Hard franchise

Jae

Im down for both! Heart eyes is pretty fun for the “scary” romance though!

Heart

A star is born (2018) perf romance movie 😍

Host_Yoo

Wheeeew, I feel like Evil Dead would be a test for her. Even I can only watch that movie every few years because it is gruesome. 😩 Still a great movie though.

GAYLIENtv

Oooohhhh! A romance would be so delightful!! I honestly believe you can do any film and we’ll eat it up- you’re just to lovely and alluring! We stan a real queen frfr!!! 💗🌸✨

Ty

If we keep it scary, it’s time for Hellraiser!! It’s a gothic romance! If we do non-horror, Cruel Intentions or Bring It On rewatch lol.

Ev 180

Omg I’m so excited for Lisa Frankenstein!, I’d also suggest “Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person” from 2024 for more monster romance

Jae

I would love non horror movies in general theres this movie called the impossible 2012 it was so good!

reformedbritta

Companion (2025) and Together (2025) aren’t monster romance but would be good for the valentine horror rotation ❤️

Kadiesha

So excited for IT! I hope you'll watch welcome to Derry down the road. It's right up your alley.

Ailish

Can't wait to watch It!! I hope we get the sequel and Welcome to Derry as well ❤️

Zombies_Are_Real

I voted to keep it scary, and have a movie to recommend, Only Lovers Left Alive.

Kelly T

I think you should watch whatever movie you really want to see! I'll be sat regardless 🩷

vanellabean

Everything Everywhere All At Once, It’s not romance but I DEEPLY LOVE THIS MOVIE so maybe eventually we can watch it perchance!🫣

Aidan

Queen A could react to nature videos on YouTube and I’d be sat. “Look at these hyenas playing Red Light Green Light while their pups are in PERIL from these snaggle-toothed baboons!”

felix

I would love for you to see Companion!! I think you’ll love it

Andrew

Rye Lane (2023) would be a great non horror romance, plus it has David Jonsson! (I rewatched it like 2 days after seeing The Long Walk as a palette cleanser for the devastation, it’s a ridiculously sweet movie).

Jarrod (JP) Pence

I’m down for whatever but I’m BEGGIN’ for you to watch IT and IT Chapter 2 as well as Welcome to Derry (when you finish other tv series and wanna jump in that pool)!

Lara Farahani

Please consider Oddity, if not the channel just for your own viewing. Brilliant movie, and about sisters/sisterhood.

Dejadthisvu

I'm not a fan of romance, but you know ily, and will watch regardless. You make even movies I don't like entertaining and fun.

RJKPOP

Vote casted! :) Question for you Alanda, are you exporting your videos from the edit in 1080p or higher? I know that tends to add to upload times because of the size of the file, cause I can imagine the time waiting for it to export and upload/process can be annoyingly long. Have you tried 720p? I know it probably sounds like the quality may be lower but it actually comes out quite nicely and the file is smaller plus the uploads time is cut in half. Plus, I assume most people consume video content via phone or laptop so the difference is barely noticeable.

paires

Bae I will literally watch whatever you post

reformedbritta

Alanda- DON’T do Heart Eyes #boycottspyglass (it’s mediocre anyway)

Andrew

Another horror romance: Bones and All (2022). It's really beautiful but also pretty gnarly.

Legacy Lee💞🐆

You should add together to that list! It came out last year and the title is the only thing you need to know going in!

groovetheorist

Throwing companion in the ring for February!

kellybean

I'm not a big fan of romance but I do really like the idea of opening up the channel to non-horror movie reactions. Your reaction to Bottoms is one of my favorite videos.

Andrew

Seconded, Companion is a great genre pick for this time of year.

Jazmin

She mentioned that she’s editing It at the beginning of this post 🙌🏾

Jeremy

A comprehensive month of love in February would be nice with a jump back to horror in March! Suggestions: -Standard: Pretty Woman, You've Got Mail, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, The Wedding Singer, Something's Gotta Give, Two Can Play That Game -Unhinged: Unfaithful, Fatal Attraction, Romeo + Juliet, 9 1/2 Weeks, The War of the Roses (1989) And would love a "Showgirls" or "Wild Things" reaction if you haven't seen those already but something tells me you have, haha

Andrew

That one is SO good and criminally underrated.

servane

I'm okay with romance as long as it's queer!

Jazmin

I loved your reaction to A Walk to Remember so I’d be happy have another rewatch of a classic WPE movie. Outside of non-scary romance, Companion would be perfect for love month!

Andrew

Your Monster and Lisa Frankenstein are so fun and cozy, you're going to love them both

Pop Shocked James!

I'd say keep it scary but I'm here for whatever you feel like giving us. Can't wait for Megan 2.0 I know you had a blast with that. Also I just watched Rachel McAdams new horror comedy thriller don't by horror legends Sam Rami and I'm shook it's so amazing hilarious unhinged wild ride the ending twists will have you shook in the best way. Very girl power movie in the most messed up way lol 😆 "monsters aren't born they are created" that line stood out a lot to me once I reached the end of the film. When it hits stream please watch it, it's very romance in a way but certainly switches up on you and reminds you that your watching a horror movie. Companion great AI robot romance thriller for sure, I've also seen Your Monster and I really love that one very engaging and romantic.

Max Armstrong

Can we give babygirl a break with the horror ?? America is already horrific af. PLEASE ! 💕😂

Andrew

Another good horror romance: My Animal (2023). Sapphic werewolf love story with your girl Amandla Stenberg.

spheeris jones

I've seen a few people recommend Companion, throwing my lot in with that choice, too. Sophie Thatcher is phenomenal (btw, do you still plan on reacting to Yellowjackets?) I'm also happy to watch a non-horror romance! Would love a queer film... I really enjoyed Anais In Love. Or more surreal, Love Lies Bleeding.

L

hard to decide, i'll watch whatever u wanna watch lol

Thomas Riggs

Stick to horror!!! Hopefully Midnight Mass is on your radar… it’s a masterpiece.

Mr. Squidward

Companion is a good one I think you’d like!

Ethan Sin

I think it's a great idea to kind of go outside of horror I mean, romance isn't a monolith, it can contain a lot of variety and perspectives about love that can be explored and always. It's about your reaction and the good time we have, the vibe that you bring. And so i'm all for it. There's also combination genre like the last of us, which I know in a video you said you started watching that whole thing is about love and relationships, friendships, all different forms of love, which people really don't get, because it has, you know, an Apocalypse scenario. But per the creator of the last of us , that was his intention

Stephen King

Please watch "Together" its a romance horror movie that came out to acclaim last year. its a GAG also Nosferatu is a horror romance (twisted yes but still lol)

Taco Wolf

Yay! throwing in a few more horror-romance suggestions: Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person (2023) a cute horror rom-com on Shudder Stree (2018) a lighthearted Bollywood horror rom-com on Prime Attachment (2022) on Shudder and of course some cheesy, campy horror rom-coms: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016) and Boy Eats Girl (2005)

Norberto Aguiar

If it's a non-horror romance, I prefer it to be queer. So many underrated great queer romances & love stories out there. All Of Us Strangers, A Portrait of a Lady on fire, Twinless, Bound, Edge Of Seventeen, Gods own Country, The History Of Sound, Pillion, etc.

Tim D.

Although not really traditional "romance movies," if we're going to do non-horror the following provide that feel-good vibe just not between a man and a woman: Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn Wicked + Wicked For Good

Stephen King

For a more important question are the losers club now apart of Alanda Parker's Elite adoption agency

Lavender Violet

I really liked Companion. This is a good suggestion. 😃

Hudson Hardgrave

I would love a Chocolat reaction because that movie is my life.

Hudson Hardgrave

It’s also perfect for our upcoming seasons 🙂‍↕️

Destiny 🩵

I’ve been thinking about this for a while but I swear Alanda did a reaction to Bones and All but I can’t find it on her YouTube. Did it just get copyrighted or did I completely make that up?

AB_19

Eternity with Elizabeth Olsen and Miles Teller. Perfect romantic comedy from 2025!!

Pierre Brown

If possible, I would love a Bones and All (2022) reaction!!!

L

Ooo I like this suggestion!

Norberto Aguiar

OMG, yes it was! Hilarious, steamy & sleazy, so awkwardly funny, but also so tender & sweet, surprisingly made me cry at the end. So good! Have you seen All Of Us Strangers? It's a beautiful love story/ghost story about grief & being accepted and breaking the walls down to accept love. Sobbed!

Norberto Aguiar

Midnight Mass is Mike Flanagan's masterpeice imo! So good!

Scott

I do enjoy the horror romances but if you were looking for some non-horror, No Hard Feelings is a fun time 😂

Daniel K-T ❤️‍🔥👑

I would take a full 5 hour no cuts video of you watching Wicked and Wicked For Good tbh 😂😂

sparkling-lights

PLEASE WATCH: crazy/beautiful, something borrowed and one day the movie

Luna's Illustrations

If you haven't checked out Gerald's Game (incredible horror film by Mike Flanagan) you should check it out!

Deejennay

Oooo so I voted for non horror but then I seen some good horror romance options. Now I’m voting for Companion or Together!

Rob Valentine

We love Heart Eyes for the Valentines Day movie 🥹

Alexandria

I’d loooove to see you watch Down with Love ( we Stan Sarah Paulson)

Janet Michelle- You Caught Me

In a sick, twisted way "Nosferatu" would be a reaction I'd love to see from you. The performances and the filmmaking are just excellent and it's kind of like based on different types of "relationships" from very loving ones to the worst so it would fun for Feb. Especially after watching "IT" you would be AMAZED at Bill Skarsgård's performance as Count Orlok and Lily Rose-Depp's physical/emotional performance is incredible.

Joe Crammond

i really want you to do the Beetlejuice films and Pan's Labyrinth, both are such great films

Joe Crammond

quite a few reactors have recently posted their reactions on youtube (petty pumpkins, Reel-Time, Reel Rejects, Nicksaysboo), the more reactors the merrier i say

Belladonna Rose

I definitely second Companion and Together for Love month. I even second Gerald's Game even though this one gave me nightmares 😅 if you knew all the different types of horror movies I've watched, you'd probably wonder why this one did it. Lol. All I can say is I was sick with a fever when I watched it. And some faces get seared into your brain 🧠 It was a good movie. Although I'll say for you there's a slight trigger warning without spoilers. Another film that was really good and gave me nightmares was Presence. Again, its very strange that this one would do it 🤣 its not even scary scary. Its more spooky than scary. The concept just freaked me out a lil lol. But its a good story and kind of beautiful. Not necessarily for love month, but to add to the list. Also since its Black History Month, I vote for some Black horror although I think you may have watched a lot of the good ones like Get Out, Us, Nope, Ma. Ooh maybe Attack the Block! I'm open!

Manuel Mendez

Have you ever watched Superstar starring Molly Shannon and Will Ferrel? If not it’s a good watch, it’s stupid but funny I think you’ll enjoy it ♥️

Santiago Hardy

I'm torn about what to choose in your poll, so I will say I hope you do both.🤞🙏 Unsolicited suggestion: A couple of days ago, I finally started watching "IT: Welcome to Derry". I'm two episodes in. Girrrrrrl.....!! It takes a LOT to traumatize me, there are two scenes, one in each episode that just left me SPEECHLESS. WTAGDF!!??😳😱 The series, thus far is really GOOD, in ways I had never expected. I hope you add that series to your list of future series reactions.

Thomas Riggs

It really is. Mike Flanagan truly has a passion for horror. You can tell he loves it. Especially in Midnight Mass. I just can’t wait for Alanda to share her thoughts on Bev Keane 🤭

Edge

You should watch Heart Eyes (2025). Both romance and horror. Also will you be reacting to scream 7 when it comes out online? I love your reaction and really looking forward to it

Josh

Heart Eyes!

Dank The Poet

Heart Eyes or Warm Bodies are my first choices but I always tune in and would be down with a solid romcom like Ghost, or Stella Got Her Groove Back.

Callie McIntyre

I know Alanda has some hard lines about what she’s comfortable with in regards to SA so I would suggest she looks into the trigger warnings before watching Gerald’s Game! That is a very good movie though ❤️

dono

do a re-react to heated rilvalry

Justin Lafleur

Companion, Together and Strange Darling are all excellent third movie choices for Valentine's Day! Strange Darling is written and directed by the writer of The Long Walk, JT Mollner BUT tonally and plot-wise they could not be further apart. Strange Darling is a fun, wild, twisty ride and one of my top 3 favorite films, horror or otherwise, of 2023. A warning about Heart Eyes. It's studio, Spyglass, donates portions of their films' profits to Israel, which in turn uses them to massacre native Palestinians (in the past three years Israel has murdered over 700,000 men, women and children...mostly women and children). And its other studio, Paramount, has publicly admitted to maintaining an ongoing blacklist of anyone in Hollywood that speaks out against this ongoing holocaust, refusing to employ them, thus posing terrible risk to the thing artists need most: the ability to exercise freedom of speech and expression. The studio is a literal enemy of the arts / artists and well, decency. If you do watch it, I recommend a method like torrents, that does not give Spyglass money, which is literal blood money.

Justin Lafleur

Ooooh I would love a reaction to TWINLESS!

Tre’

Girl watch me on Facebook

H V

I feel you !! I feel the same way with The Hills Have Eyes lol But i think she will have fun and love how campy and dramatic the movie is!

Jacob Faraone

It’s so corny but please do Beautiful Creatures! It’s my guilty pleasure and I just know your reaction will send me!

Ron Paul Deluta

Alanda, I love you, but please watch Creep. 😁

Leslie Summey

Strange Darling blew my mind and I know you'd love it!

J'aime Black

I agree with many of the comments about watching heart eyes! Soooo good

Edouard

Best of both worlds : heart eyes

Jess

totally killer please! to everyone saying heart eyes, she isnt gonna do it becuz its from the studio that fired Melissa Barrera and we are boycotting them

Jess

for love horror, u could do companion

M.V.K.

Your a Scream Queen Alanda keep it scary

Josh Moniz

In my opinion, Secretary with Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader is the most romantic film I've seen - two people Healing each other's trauma - that just happens to have extensive BDSM content in it

AAA

Please watch Creep!

Christian Craig

Heart Eyes is right up your alley. It’s a wonderful mix of being a horror-comedy slasher mixed in with rom-com tropes. It is so much fun!

Cal

Lots of good suggestions here already (Nosferatu, Heart Eyes, Companion, Strange Darling, etc.), so I'll throw in some ones I don't see anyone suggesting. Drop (2025) is more of a mystery/thriller, but it's about a woman on a first date so it fits the theme, and it's from Christopher Landon who directed Freaky and the Happy Death Day movies. Fresh (2022) stars Sebastian Stan and Daisy Edgar-Jones, and it deals with the horrors of modern dating, but I'd recommend going in as blind as possible. Cherry Falls isn't a romance, but it's a post-Scream slasher that fits the general theme. Speak No Evil (2024) isn't a romance, but it deals with two couples and is therefore loosely adjacent to this theme. Other suggestions I'll throw out there include F Marry Kill, Shaun of the Dead, Heavenly Creatures, and Spontaneous.

Cal

Yes to both of those things. And with It: Chapter Two, I think she'd really love that it takes the queer subtext of the first chapter and makes it official. The two chapters also kind of go hand-in-hand.

Cal

It looks like horror is winning, but if non-horror romance wins, I'll also throw Young Hearts (2024), My First Summer, Crush, But I’m a Cheerleader, and Jongens into the ring. Very cute movies.

joshua

i definitely wouldn’t mind some hunger games on my screen!

Cal

Yes, Strange Darling is soo good!

Justin Lafleur

Huge, hearty recommendation for DINNER IN AMERICA as a future non-horror, unconventional romance / comedy (An on-the-lam punk rocker and a young woman obsessed with his band go on an unexpected and epic journey together through the decaying suburbs of the American Midwest). "A movie with anti-establishment / anti-social quicksilver coursing through its veins, but at its heart it is a sweet love story, one of the sweetest in recent memory." It's a thousand-percent excellent, my god it's so good, and stars horror's most lovable scream king Kyle Gallner. It was released RIGHT at the beginning of the pandemic and got lost in the clusterfuck of THAT mess. BUT, the people who DID catch it would not let it be forgotten and slowly word of mouth spread in film communities leading to it getting revival screenings around the country just last year which Gallner and various other people involved in the film attended.

Justin Lafleur

Throwing out ANOTHER recommendation for a future horror series: SWARM. It's a thinly-veiled horror / comedy (strangely the first episode doesn't contain much dark humor and suggests you are in for something bleaker than what proceeds from there) series about rumors of some of Beyonce's BeyHive (or, an obsessed, Houston-based fan goes to increasingly violent lengths for her favorite R&B singer). Donald Glover is behind it. And the leading lady, Dominique Fishback puts in a STUNNING performance as the pop star's "#1 fan." Billie Eilish also stars.

Alec Kauffman

If you could watch Beastly (2011) my life would be complete! 🌹 such an underrated romance film!

Ben

Literally came here to comment this especially with Mason Gooding in it!

Polo

I am hoping that you react to Bring Her Back and Together which are both great horror movies that came out last year <3

nico

Bring her back?? Idk about that one. that movie had me sick as hell

Blake

Agreed Bring Her Back is one of my favorite horror movies in a while

Jacob Faraone

Hear me out, WICKED! Idk if you’ve already seen it or if you’re even into musicals but I’d die for a wicked and wicked for good reaction!!

Janet Michelle- You Caught Me

She's said she won't be doing Bring Her Back. Her sisters even told her not to do it b/c it will upset her too much. I do that Together would be fun though!

Polo

Ok that makes sense considering her reaction to Talk To Me, but hopefully she will react to Together at some point! :)

Michael Pares

I’d love a romance. Indecent Proposal kinda gives a bit of thriller vibes and has Demi Moore but GHOST has some scary elements while being romantic and hilarious YOU IN DANGER GIRL
