It's that time again people! Seven match-ups. One vote each. So choose carefully!

In the last round of MTB Prince vs David Bowie absolutely demolished in the poll with 54% of votes. Wowzers. Either the other selections were dung (they weren't) or it's a battle that gets folk excited. I love it. Crawling into second place was Malcolm X vs Sitting Bull with just 15% and that's no slouch of an idea itself! 

But, let's see what you think about these new seven match-up ideas. Get voting!

Whilst I know nothing really about Columbo I am a huge Agatha Christie fan, so I'd love to see Poirot up against ANYONE. Lots of great detectives out there, might be fun to go up against Angela Lansbury's Jessica Fletcher from Murder She Wrote as a sort of campy modern take on Agatha Christie's own Miss Marple.

Oh god damn it, not the Office, please. Give me something actually interesting. Colombo vs. Hercule Poirot or House vs Hippocrates would be better, even if Achimedes vs MacGyver doesn't make the number one.

I agree, I think a fun battle, although not well known enough to even bother suggesting, would be Hercule Poirot vs. William Murdoch.

Columbo is amazing. If you can find an episode to watch on the cheap I'd highly recommend it. The series isn't your traditional whodunnit - the show starts out with the guilty party doing the dirty deed. It's more a suspense thriller as Columbo in his roundabout way corners the criminal.

I really don't want to see an Office vs. Parks battle, it'd just be show pop culture references and would age like a block of cheese on the sidewalk.

I do hope we'll still see Shrek vs Grinch in the future, but not when we have a chance for Schrute vs Swanson! And as far as "pop culture references" based on the shows, noooononono this isn't "the office vs parks and rec" this is TWO TIMELESS TITANS OF PERSONALITY. Dwight and Ron are remarkable characters in and of themselves, and their interaction has EXPLOSIVE potential.

I second this idea, especially since House was based on Holmes. It could be a fun detective vs. detective battle despite one of them not being a literal detective.

Considering the number of House-centric COVID memes that are flying around out there, I wholeheartedly disagree that it's too late to have House in a battle.

Schrute vs Swanson would be pure actor's enjoyment. I would absolutely contribute more money to hire the original actors to play those roles in that battle.

They both totally would too. Nick Offerman would be easy and you could use Jenna Fischer to hunt down Dwight although I’m not sure if he’s still rocking that massive beard lol.

I auto-clicked Ron verses Dwight but then I saw House... House in a battle is all i ever wanted man. And to JH’s point I even bet Hugh would do it if he’s allowed to that is.
