That new alien movie just dropped so we figured we would finally watch the classic! A Masterpiece! One of the best parts about this commentary was looking at how scared Lewie was as he realized he had never actually seen this movie - he was loosing his mind when Ash pops off. God damn what a good movie. Enjoy folks!

In space no one can hear you scream,good timing for alien Romulus to come out this week Imma gonna see it cuz I’m a fan of Aliens, this inspired parodies like spaceballs and adult swim, and designs, and seeing young actors that will become popular in the near future like Sigourney,John hurt and Ian holm,for a 70’s sci-fi horror movie it has a slow build up with old technology that looks like 2001 space odyssey,the alien design has iconic scenes like the chest burster,the alien mouth, the ship jockey that would appear later in Prometheus,the practical effects are pretty good by H.R geiger,I’ve seen all the alien movies,I prefer Aliens more cuz of the action and the marines aspect of it,the inside of the ship inspired video games like Dead Space and Alien isolation,the trivia for this movie is wild and crazy,the xenomorph alien design is so cool that they put him in the marketing of Alien romulus,that android scene was crazy and it foreshadows the company that it was made to be put in the next movie of where bishop comes in

Lewie freaking out over the butter was a highlight, for sure. Liked the alternate endings talks at the end, it is good to speculate and see what everyone thinks of stuff like Ridley Scott's talking puppet.

If you guys do watch Aliens then you absolutely need to watch the director’s cut, there are scenes in that version that give you the full experience and it would be a crime to miss out on them.

It's funny that the only reason the sequel is called "Aliens" is because James Cameron pitched it by writing "Alien" on a white board, then added $ at the end, showing "Alien$" and that's how the Aliens title came about.

Crazy that Lewie hadn't seen this and pops maybe didn't see most of it. This movie kinda makes you forget a lot of it, even though its so good. Need to watch Aliens right away to keep up the vibe. The alternate ending I prefer most (and pops brings it up) is that she goes into her cryopod and as she is drifting off to sleep she sees it loom over her right before her eyes close and the movie ends. Lewie being so adamant about the alien talking in the end being better is kinda driving me crazy. That single decision would have destroyed this entire franchise. This is why you don't listen to lewies when making a serious movie like this lol
