An honorable mention on most "So Over-The-Top bad that it's GOOD" Lists - American Ninja! A top tier watch with the boys right here. Fast paced, funny characters, and French controlled Japanese ninjas, stationed in the Philippines, working with the Spaniards, to take down American soldiers, lmao - Enjoy!

Angelo

Now we just need a ninja assassin commentary :D

chivy

We back with some 80s goodness

Erick

For a second there I thought this was the one with Chris Farley as the ninja lol.

Heyboody, you should really check out Ninja Shadow of a Tear 2013 even outside of a dub, its really good

Kumar Kutliev

-"Is his name Gooche Cock?!!" -That bike stunt blunder. Goddamn! -Breaking 2 is goofy as hell, lots of dancing and hip hop. Based on a clip from YouTube, I think it'd be an amazing commentary.

Mecha-Machine King

One of my favorite 80s action movies, so glad you guys did this one and had so much fun. I highly recommend American Ninja 2, I think it's almost as good as the first movie. After that they get pretty iffy though. Enter the Ninja and its sequels are pretty dope as well. I think the movie you guys were thinking of similar to this might have been The Perfect Weapon, as a white guy karate movie where he was working out in his living room at the start and fought dudes on the docks at the end. You did a commentary track for it forever ago.

Hank Greenburg

This movie is honestly so much better than I thought it'd be. It really stands above those other movies you guys mentioned at the beginning. Obviously a goofy premise, writing, and acting, but the action and a lot of the cinematography was really good. I want MORE! Jackson riding in with the LMG at the end was awesome. Definitely gave me Sgt Johnson vibes from Halo.

JP

Had to rewatch that bike jump over a few times. Sides were hurting from laughing. That Filipino stunt guy for sure slammed his face into that bike.

Will See

This was a banger!! MAGNIFIQUE

Str8Hype

You guys might wanna to check to out Cyborg 1989 by Canon films, staring JCVD. Is in the same realm as this.

ATOMIC CHORIZO

I thought the boys already dubbed it but I guess not.

Dane Blythe

"That's the noise I make when there's a Windows update. "Oh my god"."

You guys should watch “The Invincible Kung Fu Guy”. It’s a super short movie on YouTube & it’s the same vibes. My grandma found it in the bargain bin at the store like 20 years ago & it has become a family heirloom. 😂

Thrift Rat World

Yes! Always here for some Cannon films! Thank You !

smiley

Check out Ninja In The Dragon's Den 1982, a comedy clash of kung fu and ninjas. It's on youtube, commentary would be hilarious lol

Melon Head

Dudikoff grabs the girl by the mouth and holds her down, my immediate thought was Dennis saying "It's the implication.." Then Lewy says "He looks like Dennis from Always Sunny" and I lost it.

Andrew J Marchand

The Toy Story character you guys are thinking about is Combat Carl. He showed up in Toy Story 4. Yes he looks exactly like Jackson AND he was voiced by Carl Weathers!!

RRRRRRRoRRon

We must avenge master Baldiru and continue our journey to become American Ninjas by continuing this series! lol I remember catching either the 2nd or 3rd one involving poison and it gets 80's intense haha Don't worry Jackson makes a return, come on now!

SkrogNoSkrog

This was great lol. Gotta check out the sequels. RIP Gooch Kock

Homeless Joe

Hearing joe so much was so jaring hahaha

Samuel Ellis

This would've been a blast to see in a theatre. I bet people were chanting "USA!" when Jackson came rolling in on that mounted MG.
