Mmm, Tim Burton flavor! Obviously, we gotta compare this to the OG and this one doesn't even come close in any way. But we laughed our asses off though, enjoy patrons!

Thank God!! I needed something to laugh at. Appreciate you boys!!!!! BTW Jaboody, you can have a squirrel as a pet. My great grandmother had one for years. It followed her around everywhere, rode on her shoulder, and (no joke) would run up under her dress and hold on to her leg to hide, if someone it didn't know was in the house.

man it’s a weird one from tim burton but I watch this one the most and it’s full of memes and quotables and I praised the production design and the music by danny elfman,his instrumental epic and quirky music are the best bits,but yeah nothing can beat Gene Wilder,Johnny Depp is just Michael Jackson trolling kids and he’s a great actor with alot of makeup and Deep roy is good too,Elijah Wood and Gene wilder hated this version,the glass elevator is cool it’s like a theme park experience,my fav oompah loompah song is the rock n roll one,tha gamer words scene is so funny with the dub and the indian royalty one lol,this might be the hilarious commentary you ever made,this is a wild cartoon network kind of movie that feels like a fever dream,but it makes more sense than burton’s planet of the apes,this freddie highmore’s early roles before he got famous in other movies and a show called the good doctor,I have seen the new Wonka prequel movie and it’s good and connected to the original movie and it has funny british humor,the trivia you’re reading is wild lol,Rohal dahl hated the original movie and said it’s not accurate to his book,but this one is more accurate to the book and looks like real chocolate and not like sewage like in the original,which is funny because in the parody version called Epic movie it does look like sewage and willy wonka is played by Crispin glover and dances to fergialicious like a Tik Tok video,they poked fun of their version lol,the original version has 92 fresh and the Johnny one has an 83 fresh and the audience for the johnny is 51 rotton,so this movie is divided

Ugh what a stinker compared to the orig. I forgot how bad the oompa loompa songs were. Always felt the replicating of one actor just seemed so cheap. Depp is hit and miss for me. But I respect him for taking chances.

Just completely missed this gem from 2003 with a loaded lineup of talented actors and actresses whom all completely forget how to act and react in this movie..the science is barely a fourth grader with a crayon level understanding..anybody ever seen The Core?

I actually prefer this from Willy Wonka but this is coming from childhood perspective. I found Willy Wonka boring as a child but Charlie had everything I really loved with quirky jokes, funny songs, and especially amazing set designs. Can’t hate on what I grew up on. Can’t hate on people who grew up with Willy. Age difference affects originals and re imagining. Loved the commentary but found the strong hate too much and annoying.

This movie gets too much hate. I read the book as a kid and this movie is much closer in terms of accuracy. While I am honestly guilty of it sometimes, I think people are just too nostalgic for the OG.

This movie is even worse than I remembered it being. Just makes you feel sad and gross and has no iconic scenes like the original. Nasty creepy movie.

One of the main reasons I don't like this one is because they changed the date of the tour. In the original it was October 1st which is my birthday so it ment more sentimentality to me instead of February 1st. I've been waiting for this dub for so long!

Still a fun and wild Tim Burton joint! Always enjoyed the scenes added from the book like the prince and chocolate palace. I'll always love the timeless boomer classic. if anyone tried to do this movie today i dont think they could even get close to this version let alone the original. Dont @ me XD
