yea this might be an underwhelming diet Indiana Jones kind of movie that history buffs can enjoy but yea it’s a lukewarm adventure movie that you can just put in the background,but that making a scene at the palace is hilarious he went full caged and him saying Ello was so funny and became a meme and this came out the same year as the Jason Bourne movie with that car chase in 2007 and I always love the music from these movies,I think the first one is better,seeing Jon voight again with you doing the anaconda dubs lol if you want more action you gotta dub the new 5th and last Indiana Jones movie called of Dial of destiny it’s my fave and best sequel that has a better story than crystal skull,Nicolas Cage was asked in a interview of why they didn’t greenlit the sequel yet which would’ve been the plot of page 47 but they said it’s not the focus of the movie,it’s been stuck in development until the script got completed and sent to Nick cage for approval,Nick Cage is a real treasure hunter IRL,I have watch the series edge of history it’s ok but for gen z people Harvey kietel and Riley is like in one episode and they only mention nick cage but doesn’t show him since he doesn’t do tv shows,btw the director turtletub,he did the first 3 ninjas movie,cool runnings,The Kid,both national treasure movies,the sorcerer’s apprentice and the meg,the budget for this movie was $130 million,that easter egg party scene where the kid knows ben’s grandfather lore is surprising and funny and that ending where it felt like fall guys mixed with legends of the hidden temple and that line of where he says Imma gonna kidnap the president of the united states is so funny that they put that in the trailer,We love Nick cage as we do but we need one more treasure movie to make him go full cage and put more action this time (side note: all 4 Indiana Jones movies were made by paramount before disney bought the rights to make the 5th Indy movie)

Man alive what a silly premise and goofy movie. Somehow was so similar to the first one but just slightly worse at every point. Also so weird to me that in both of these movies like 99% of the treasure hunting happens in public with them surrounded by people.
