Hey everyone!

Update v0.17.0 focuses on save compatibility, expanding the NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANING mission, adding more character-modification opportunities, and introducing a completely new Guild assignment — NEWS RELEASE.

This update also adds a large number of new exhibitionism-related triggers across the city, improves tattoo and piercing hints, expands item requirement information in stores, and fixes several interface issues.

Save Compatibility Fix

An issue with loading saves from older versions of the game into newer ones has been addressed.

This fix should work for the current version and all future updates.

There is still a theoretical possibility that unusual save combinations may cause problems, but compatibility between versions should now be significantly more reliable.

Neighborhood Cleaning Expansion

The NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANING Guild mission has received several new events.

Sewer Cleaning

A new tentacle attack event has been added.

This event also provides another way to obtain a chest tattoo.

Scrap Metal Collection

A new attack event has been added to this route.

It provides another way to obtain nipple piercings.

Roof Cleaning

A new hypnosis event has been added.

To trigger it, the character must have the Brainwashed trait.

Alley Cleaning

A new attack event has been added.

Its activation chance depends on:

Beauty

Reputation

This event also provides another way to obtain a butt tattoo.

Tattoo & Piercing Hints

Help information in the tattoo and piercing sections of the character menu has been updated.

The hints now better reflect the new ways these modifications can be obtained.

Store Information Improvements

New widgets have been added to stores for items that require a specific Madness value.

When viewing these items, the player can now see the required Madness level before attempting to equip them.

Interface Fix

Fixed an issue where content inside the left and right story sidebars could shift incorrectly.

Exhibitionism Events

New exhibitionism-related triggers have been added across the city.

The Park contains three different exhibitionism-related events.

New Guild Assignment — NEWS RELEASE

A new Guild assignment called NEWS RELEASE has been added to the random mission pool in the ASSIGNMENTS section.

The mission requires the protagonist to visit the local television station in the Park and temporarily take the place of the news anchor.

News Release Events

The new assignment includes three standard events, plus several audience-reaction events.

Different groups around the city may react differently to the broadcast depending on the protagonist’s history and stats.

Resident reactions may depend on:

Fitness

Scientists

Scientists may have a special reaction if the protagonist has the Brainwashed trait.

This makes the same news assignment play out differently depending on the character build and previous choices.

New Backgrounds

Added a new sewer background for future sewer-related content and replaced the old background used by existing sewer events.

Added a new abandoned factory utility room background for future events and replaced the background used in existing abandoned factory scenes.

Added similar triggers to two Northern District locations.

Added a trigger to one Eastern District location.

Added a trigger to one Western District location.

Added a trigger to the Beach.

Added a trigger to the Park that can launch three exhibitionism-related events.

Added a new Guild quest: NEWS RELEASE. It is randomly selected in the ASSIGNMENTS section and requires visiting the television station in the Park to temporarily replace the news anchor.

Added reactions from residents of the Slums and Eastern District, influenced by reputation, participation in a porn film, breast size, and corruption.

Added reactions from residents of the Northern and Western Districts, influenced by reputation and fitness.
